Comments (9)Scroll medium fast down (or up) picture #7 (yucca?) for a neat optical effect. And what is in the blue bonsai pot? A euphorbia? I have a plant like that with the same stem action, but I don't think my leaves are as bright green. That cholla forest reminds me of the landscape near Needles. Drove through there one August. Jeez, that area was hot as blazes!...See MoreSunday's pictures

Comments (23)Nat, Man Of Sorrows is a good one in my garden. Multiplies well. It is in the second tier (which is the main biggest one) of my terraces garden. It really is a very lovely daylily....See MoreFragrant fall bouquets on a lazy Sunday
Comments (7)I bet Chrysler Imperial would grow great in Australia... it's so strange it's not common there. It handles the heat like it's nothing. Still blooms in 100+. Super drought tolerant. Seems to thrive on neglect, but then really shines with attention. At least in my yard. Super fragrant too! And healthy foliage. No mildew. No disease. Seems to even repel aphids somehow. This rose bush in particular is very mature. About 50+ years old. Maybe I have a hulk mutant version of it. :) But my other youngsters seem to becoming just as strong here. You have so many other roses I covet in Australia though!...See Morehostatakeover swMO
