The last picture looks like what could be a couple of red spidermites in the picture (too small to tell for sure) and the one before that has the characteristic webbing that they make. Around here, they usually only become a problem if the plant is already suffering, i.e., they are not usually the primary issue. However, once they get going, they can become a real problem. They do not seem to like oils sprayed on them, such as Neem. I've also got some other horticultural oil that is a mix of garlic oil, clove oil and some other oil that I've used. Oils require full application on the tops and bottoms of every leaf, and are best to spray in the evening. It essentially suffocates the little devils. :-) Sorry you are having such a complicated year. It does seem to happen to us all at some point. Good luck Ray!

I grow Ispahan as a shrub though it can become a climber too. Ispahan and Kazanlyk bloom for the first time, they are young plants so I do not know in the future. Ispahan is very orderly plant, grows upright, has a lot of blooms. Kazanlyk does not obey to order but I grow it for the fragance. I like both of them but I would like Kazanlyk to obey and not overtake the space of other roses. and to bloom more.

I know it's a little late, but evidently, a lot of May posts didn't get any replies. Those look like army worms from what I can see.

Photo is not good enough to ID the arthropods. If you can't see them on the plants, why do you assume they are attacking the plants and have to be killed?
