Full StoryI'm replacing my carpeted stairs with hardwood treads. There are sheetrocked walls on both sides, and no skirtboard now. When I put in the wood treads and risers, should I add a skirtboard? Is it a personal preference thing, or are there advantages and disadvantages?
Thanks!
