ID this big rounded leaf on plant in Central Texas
Comments (2)Great! Thanks! Appears to be it Farfugium... (Googled & saw photos). I think it's interesting that it was planted among very low water needs/cactus & succulents. Details for growing say "keep soil moist at all times, don't let it dry out". Not the best plant companions, I wouldn't think...???...See MoreHelp with Succulent ID-ing please?
Comments (27)A possibility for you on that 2nd one in the last bunch: Aeonium sedifolium (which was my first thought, but I nixed it, as your plant's leaves are not so plump as I would think it to have...but it does have the tannic stripes/coloring). Still, I would not say this is IT. :P Would like to see its blooms, if/when it does. =) Adding a link to a pic of one, but not sure GW allows this site when linking (we shall see). Okay, it would not, because of spam or other. This site also has other pix of this plant that look more like how I believe it should look. Also, I don't find this site has correct labeling of their plants, so don't fully trust them. So, google image this name. Maybe I'll email you the name of site! Comments (5)Thank you so much for the replies! Ben, I looked up the Aeonium Tabuliforme and saw that it typically grows pretty flat. Mine forms a nice cup shape on top. Is this something that will change as it grows? Aloe strata hybrid it is! Might have to wait for the Pachypodium to mature a little more for a definitive answer, both species look a lot alike when young -Cari...See MoreHelp me ID my succulents...Name the succulents! Comments (9)Hi Gina, no apologies needed:-) people her will chime in on the IDs, it's not a pain at all, and the list is a little less active because it's JUNE, yay, we are all out in the dirt:-) if you don't get a response soon, try this: repost your photos with numbers and just a short request for ID's. That makes it easier for folks to answer. usually you'll get several responses, with each person just IDing a couple plants, rather than one person doing it all. The numbers help make it easier for several folks to each focus on what they know best....See Morestonetreehouse
