Houzz glitch last night?

Everything appears normal this morning (Apr 3, 2015), but last night, ~10-11 p.m. Eastern, all of gardenweb, appeared to be missing. Anyone else have that issue? I always get on to this site via gardenweb.com I believe. I normally get a 'Welcome to gardenweb forums' screen with 4 pics indicating the various main gw sites, garden, home, nature, and exchanges. Last night, I only had what I suppose is the main Houzz site. I had to learn via faq how to reach gw via the "Advise" tab that gave various gw sites, but those links all went back to the main Houzz page. Gardenweb was Gone!

Several noticed. TamaraGW at around 10 PM Pacific: "I think the garden gnomes had a bit of spring fever, broke into the liquor cabinet and threw a little party. We've rounded them all up and are sweeping up the mess. Thanks for being so patient!"

Thanks for the post. I wonder how well the folks at Houzz talk to each other. I found that while I was composing the initial post around 10:15 a.m., that I got a response from Houzz for a question I sent around 11 pm last night asking what happened and alerting them that gardenweb was down. The Houzz response was the generic 'gardenweb has moved to Houzz etc' but nothing about a problem.

Then, as I was/am composing this post, I see another response to my (duh, yes I know about Houzz......) response, to their poor response; saying:

The
system was going through an update as we transitioned the site completely over
to Houzz. We apologize for the inconvenience and will ensure that this happens
minimally as we finalize the transition.

rufus Assuming air flow is good and evap coil is clean, you have the classic symptoms of a unit with a refrigerant leak. If I'm correct and you don't have unit checked/serviced, it most likely will happen again and/or will not provide cooling. IMO

Just curious. Until Houzz fixes the "deleted letters and words" problem properly, does disabling the mobile version and forcing a desktop version help? https://www.howtogeek.com/176932/how-to-disable-the-mobile-version-of-a-website-on-your-phone/ I'm not a device person so I'm just taking a wild stab at it.

Robinhome, you mentioned last Thursday you did not want to go too green, but on my monitor silken pine looks like a very pale green. It is so hard to tell on monitors the true hue - or maybe you changed your mind on that line of thinking because it is so pale . In your color samples does it look different than on line ? So, if you have chosen that (silken pine - very pretty ) then for your cabinetry you would want something with more of a green hue, if not painting them white - is that right ?

I found a German Shepherd rescue here in Colorado. They have a one year old female GSD that likes cats. They are so full they couldn't find a foster for her and have her at a dog boarding kennel. I'm going to offer to foster-to-adopt her. Her name is Vail. Funny...I have a cat named Aspen....If this works out...I'll have a ski resort fur-kid-family. 😂 And...GSD'S do have thick fur....she should be fine going potty outdoors. Malinois...their fur has no under coat. They had to be wrapped in blankets just to ride in the car. Some breeds are better suited for cold weather. Lars....yeah....I don't expect a GSD to be real friendly towards "everyone".....but people in-my-circle, guests in our home, GSD'S will be fine with. Our cats were a "mess" when we adopted them. Runny noses, gooey eyes, skin-n-bones. Ivan was recovering from being beat up. He was running through the house freaking out....like I'd let a squirrel loose in the house. He climbed the great room wall of windows and screamed bloody murder. They're fine now.....that's because we're so NORMAL. 😂😂😂😂 Or they just like their heated kitty beds, Fancy Feast cat food, 4 baskets of toys.....loud smacky kisses on their cute little faces......hhhhmmmm......no....that's not it! 😂
