I like that one. Simple, inexpensive, and works.

I have no experience with either system you mentioned.

You need to check with your fab/installer and see what they are using.

Thanks, appreciate your input however I need to use one of these two. I've seen a lot of comments here about both, however in my situation I'm not sure which would be better.

If you ever have to change out that sink, you'll be glad you used the HUSH.

I need a little more guidance on the HUsH. I just received mine in the mail and the instructions aren't crystal clear.

I am undermounting a ceramic vanity sink on granite. It does have screw holes pre drilled, but I don't trust them and was hoping to use the hercules to support the sink while we screw the clips, rather than a clamp and a board.

I understand that on the back of the sink we will install 2 clips and loop the wire around the notches in the bracket. On the front side are we supposed to mount one clip on the vanity? It seems like the bracket is long and the screw part will be facing the front edge of the vanity. Will there be room to get a screwdriver/socket etc and turn it? Won't it be very close to the front of the cabinet?

I had been hoping we could do this with the clips on the sides rather than front and back, and then slip the sink onto the harness. We already have the counter in from testing it for fit, and it would be easier not to take it out (tight fit between two side walls). I hoped to have enough slack to slip the sink in, under the counter, then tighten it up. I'm thinking that might not work. I would prefer not to move the granite, I'm afraid we will crack it

It's a fairly standard set up, 36" w by 22" deep. Sink is 17 x 14. The videos are all of big kitchen sinks and a vanity sink is different with the drain being near the back and being so much smaller.

Any tips joe?

Drill a hole through a 2x4 that spans the sink hole. Drop a bar clamp through the 2x4 hole and through the sink drain hole and the wire. Snug the bowl in place with the clamp and test the fit of the HUSH. The HUSH bolt should just start in the nut. With a nut driver in a screw gun (7/16"?), tighten the HUSH and adjust as required. When you're happy with the fit, loosen the HUSH and clamp, silicone the sink flange, tighten the clamp, check the reveal, then tighten the HUSH. Pull the clamp if it's in the way to finally tighten the HUSH. Check the sink for squeeze-out and you're done. No need to fool with the other fasteners; if you ever have to replace this bowl, you'll be glad they were never used.

Thanks joe, the pics are helpful. I was hoping to not bother with the clamp and 2x4 but I guess I will have to use them. At least I bought the right kind of clamp! There was ONE guy on Home Depot who knew what I needed. The morons in hardware didn't even know what a pipe clamp was! I had to get the guy in plumbing who had said what kind if clamp to help me find it in hardware.

Should I silicone the top edge of the sink? The part that seals against the stone? Or just around the edge AFTER the hush is tightened? It's just a powder room, so it won't be having a lot of water seeping through that seam area anyway.

Hmmm just looked at the easy sink bracket. It looks easier....but I ordered the hush already, and I don't know if my sink has a flange to rest on the wood support anyway

The ez bracket is easier because it holds the sink in place without the need for a clamp to get started. But you have to do a little critical measuring before installing it. Whereas with the HUSH, you can basically put it anywhere as long as it doesn't interfere with the drain.

Put silicone on the flange before you tighten the HUSH, then tighten the HUSH, check reveals, then clean up the silicone that squeezes out. Mineral spirits or glass cleaner will help you with clean up.

We use the "Cinclips" system and it takes less than 5 minutes to install an undermount sink. Simply set it up to the sink lip and the other end against the cabinet and put in the screws. How simple is that? You will be in and out of that cabinet quick. No wait time either, just hookup the plumbing and sink is useable. By the way "captcave" Denatured alcohol or acetone in a spray bottle work excellent for cleanup of silicone. Watch the installation video by Cinclips on youtube. Cinclips work fine, but cost 9x as much as a HUSH per sink. I don't think they're long enough to work in a vanity application.

They are not 9x the cost! Where have you bought them? They do work just fine in a vanity sink application. Actually, you can mount 2 sinks with one kit! How long do you want to be under your sink? The extra cost is well worth how easy they are to install, "Less pain in the back".
