Are you on Windows/Mac/Linux ?

For Windows there is "Some PDF Images Extract".
The manual is only 420 pages long (just kidding).
Looks simple enough though.

If you happen to use Linux, "poppler-utils" provides "pdfimage" which extracts images from pdfs.

As an example, to extract all images from a pdf called "IA-state_tomato-diseases.pdf" to your desktop, run:

pdfimages -j IA-state_tomato-diseases.pdf ~/Desktop/

man pdfimages

If I remember correctly, you don't use Linux, however someone arriving at this page though an Internet search may be.

If you chose to install the reported application please be alert for any and all additional offerings. In past times CNET has gotten negative exposure in accusations that it is piggy-backing third party software on their site's offerings. Users seem to be divided on the claims, and supposed concerns do occasionally appear here.

If all you want is the images, there's always screen grabs.

I use the Snip It tool to copy the photos/images.

I use the snapshot function, but have heard of the snipit tool, where do I find that please?

Start button/All programs/Accessories/snipping tool. I keep it pinned to my taskbar.

Seems like I will have to learn some new tricks, lots of work involved for what I need it, snapshot works best for larger areas, this needs to be investigated I guess.
