I guess one last question,is there a particular arrangement of pump,accumulator,pressure switch,regulator,solenoid, and pressure gauge that works best or is there really only one way to hook them up?I will get the most help from a clear diagram.sorry its just how I process info the best.diagrams are my best tool.I guess I'm hung up on how the ro boost pump gets fed before pumping up the acumilater. I assume a rez tank is on the input side.also I'm wondering if a single solenoid is best or to have one on each nozzle?surely a single solenoid is cheaper and I'm all for that lol,but if I decide to expand this to a full greenhouse to grow my food for the year on my homestead,I'm going to have a lot of nozzles and I fear pressure loss is eminent. If I'm asking to many things I apologise but I hate messing up on a project that costs this much.and I can't find much info on this.also if I put a mesh filter before each nozzle how much will this reduce cloging?its overkill I'm sure but I'm not opposed to overkill lol.and has anyone grown potatoes like this?, I want to try but I'm trying to figure out how to support the roots and potatoes as this will be a major problem.

Greg, That picture of the forest of B.yatay palms was taken in Argentina(El Palmar)National Park.Cool picture,Butia palms as for as the eye can see.What I meant by the experts saying that T.fortunei is best suited for our region is our soil and climate and rainfall is just about exactly the same as where they grow naturally.I don't need to add sand to my soil,at least in the front and side yards.My soil drains to good,that was the problem for the Trachycarpus palms.16 feet down under my soil is solid granite rock,I live on top of a big granite hill.I cant plant anything in my back yard anyhow.I have 4 pitbulls in a 6ft fence.I've tried to plant stuff back there and they will tare it up,even pull it slap out of the ground.The only thing back there is a Red Oak tree that's probably 150yrs old,it's huge.The back of my house faces north,no good for palms anyhow.I do add Palm Tone and Superthrive in with the soil when I plant a palm.I use both about every 2 months from May to September also.Plus I foliar feed them with Neptune's Harvest,fish and seaweed fertilizer every weekend.I have 3 T.fortuneis,1 T.wagnerianus.I ordered a 3 gallon T.princeps yesterday.I haven't had a problem with any of the Trachycarpus palms this year since I started using the Superthrive.It makes palms grow like crazy :)

Reno has a good summary of the development of CAD/CADD from the mid 80s or so. AutoCad, for example, started as a 2-D drafting program for engineering applications. It was much later that they bolted on programs that would allow 2-D architectural applications (for example, the intersection of intersecting walls in plan view with the intersections deleted). 3-D came much, much later for AutoCad, and initially consisted of an add-on program from other vendors, if I remember correctly. Early 3-D programs were mostly wiring diagrams which were hard to see and visualize, much less solid 3-d pictures. DataCad and other early programs were designed from the beginning for architectural design; the 2-D and 3-D was integrated earlier, but these vendors lacked the financial and marketing resoures of AutoCad. Then European software vendors entered the marketplace for both engineering and architectural users, with advanced features like finite analysis and light-ray applications. As the market developed, and low-cost computing emerged, applications began to focus on data base/relational applications and designing for architect in 3-D, rather than starting in 2-D and merging to 3-D. All of this is probably far beyond this forum for consumers interested in building their own home! The good news for most who visit this forum and thread is that a few of the major software manufacturers of engineering and architectural software have also marketed simplified versions of their software that will do 2-D and 3-D applications ranging from decks, to landscaping to fully integrated house design at reasonable expense. The bad news is that none of the software is "smart" enough to prevent mistakes and errors in the input process. It still takes substantial experience and judgement to make these computerized tools work efficiently and effectively. Good luck!

Cory, As far as citrus goes I have 7 right now and two more on the way. They are little right now ranging from 4 inches to almost two feet. I did get bit by the citrus bug but I am trying to keep it to 10, at least until I become a bit more experienced and can keep them happy year round. I don't know what else loves the gritty mix but I also have two dwarf pomegranates and a ton of houseplants (pothos, philodendrons, dracaenas, spathaphyllum, hedara helix, spider plant, fiddle leaf ficus, and others), some cacti, and succulents(jade, many aloes, tons of sansevierias) and one agave. Amazon does have the 32 oz size of foliage pro for $20 and the one local nursery I haven't called yet is running a 30% off fertilizer sale until the four so I will see if they carry it. My apartment is on the ground floor and I can store things in a space behind my apt but you are probably right about testing it out. I do live in a dry windy climate and donot have the ability to use an irrigation system. My tomatoes get very thirsty during the summer and they are in a pretty water retentive mix. I would also have to bring them in during the winter and while my windows are fantastic light wise, I may have to upgrade my current stands to hold heavier plants. Good point about checking the sieve screen size, I had not thought of that. What size screens are recommended? I haven't even begun to find better pots yet. They are in the standard black nursery pots still. I was planning on painting them white, or in the very least taping either foil or white paper around them(I did so last year for veggies with success) but painting them half white is a fantastic idea. I am in a superb location for beautiful hand crafted pottery and Craigslist is great to find nearly new but cheaper great pots for when they need bigger sizes. I will look out for plastic pots with a more uniform size for short term, thanks for that tip. I am excited for all aspects of their growth. I get super excited for new growth on anything, kinda like when you're first in love and can't stop smiling about it. I keep bringing the tiniest bud to my family's attention and they just don't get how awesome it is. Hopefully they will share my enthusiasm when flowers bloom or at the very latest when we get to eat the fruit. I will try to get some pictures to share and will probably be pretty active here as I am learning and new questions come up. :)
