Comments (29)I have a post above but want to add another. I now have 3 10X12 HFGH's built as one. So now I have lots of room with GH's and can not add anymore. Love every one of them. I have 90 to 100 orchids hanging from the top. To do that I had to put chains in the middle of each GH so it could not bow out. That's alot of weight in all the clay pots. If I had more room I would probly have more GH's....See MoreA sad succulent story
Comments (18)I'm so sorry to hear that! None of my plants are special like that, but I still feel for you. For alot of us, they really are like children with leaves (spines, branches, etc). I'll admit I'm lucky. I've never had a plant stolen from me, but then again, I don't have any outside nor do I invite people into my home. I just told my hubby about your plant and he said 'who would steal a plant!?' but if there was drinking at your party, then I can kinda see it. He once got drunk (long long time ago) and stole one of those free newspaper boxes (not just the newspapers, the whole box/container) you see on the side of the roads, and took it home with him. Why? 'Cause he was drunk. I'm hoping the didn't realize what they were doing and when you talk to people about it, the guilty person/party will come forward and give it back whilst begging for your forgivness....See MoreGreenhouses in Franklin/Worchester, MA Counties
Comments (2)Not too many of the retail greenhouses are open right now. Though Annie's in Amherst on Rt 116 has a good supply of gift type stuff. Hadley Garden Center is open and has the usual retail stuff and the outside nursery is pretty dormant. Check the greenhouses at the colleges. UMass Durfee Conservatory, Smith College, and Mt. Holyoke - all have something in bloom! Holiday plant materials on sale to benefit the greenhouse care, etc. Have a nice trip! Comments (149)Barb...both happy and sad....Happy he is moving forward with his life. Knowing he will go far as long as he stays focused on his studies, and learns to quit being so wasteful. Sad because he is moving on and we will be seeing very little of him in the next 4 years or so. We havent made any new life adventures yet. House needs some TLC. I suppose first we will get used to having a home with just us and the critters and go from there. Chell I used to be a dog and cat groomer. I loved it too. But my employer was a deedeedee. Never had the money to pay me each week and always "owed" me. And she never gave me my tips either. Then at the end of the year she reported more earnings for me than what I had really made.Fortunitly I kept records and proved my case and won, so make sure you don't let the same happen to you. I have kept my clippers, blades and accessories and still will do a neighbors dog or two once in awhile to keep my skills up.....but don't miss the hair stuck in places I did'nt know existed....lol. Love all the pictures the everyone post. Always enjoy seeing ya'lls babies. Regina...See Morenanzjade z5 MA
