Comments (3)Throughout the backyard, I have several citrus trees, rosemary, and lavender in the open. I've hidden strawberries and tomatoes in the back where they can't be seen easily, as well as beans and edamame. (The beans were in too much shade- not very good last year.) My 3 year old got excited and planted some pumpkins last year in the same big bed behind the pool- I was cutting that stupid vine back almost every day as it spilled into the pool! Needless to say, no pumpkins this year ;) This summer, my garden helpers are a 4 year old, a 16 month old, and a growing belly- I'm due w/ #3 in mid-September. I don't know how adventurous my gardening will be- if it can't survive on it's own, it's going to be out of luck- the ultimate in organic gardening, I guess......See MoreI need help landscaping the front of my house. Comments (10)I can't tell what the existing brick is doing--do you want to install rocks there? I can't help with that. But on the boxwoods--I thinks it would look nice to continue them under the window to the right. Remember that there are several different species and cultivars of boxwoods. Take a piece from yours with you to see if you can find matching ones. Do you know what the deciduous shrubs under the windows are? Just in case they are worth keeping? If you can continue the boxwoods and put your burning bushes in front of them, then I would want a low evergreen border. I agree on taking out the junipers. Where are you? location and zone will help with suggestions....See MoreNeed Help Landscaping around Koi Pond
