Definitely would serve a vegetable or a salad. Never heard of Butternut Lasagne, does it have regular lasagna noodles in it? If not, then you would need a carb like rolls, garlic bread unless it's a carb-free meal.

Definitely a green salad, maybe a minestrone soup. I'd go light on appetizers - maybe a tray of marinated vegetables, olives and some nuts.
Dessert could be anything.

A terrific olive & tomato salad recipe

I'm assuming it's vegetarian and on the sweet side of savory, so I'd make a pan of hot sausage w/ peppers & onions, and serve a nice leafy green salad and crusty bread. That olive/tomato salad of AAA's also looks great in the photo -- but I notice the photo includes cucumbers, which aren't mentioned in the recipe.

Is this for a dinner party? For dessert...... how about a nice homemade sorbet?

And I agree w/ gardenspice about going light on the apps -- good suggestions! I'd avoid cheese because assume it's in the lasagna. :)

wow, that's an interesting recipe.... tons of rosemary, and very odd to have beaten whipped cream added to the top. Now that I see the recipe you chose, I would re-think my previous suggestions on sides!

I've attached the recipe that I've used for a long time, adapted from Gourmet Magazine.....it also has heavy cream and lots of rosemary. I can tell you that it.is.freaking.delicious.

I served stuffed mushroom caps, marinated garden veggies, puff pastry cheese bites as appetizers.

Sides included steamed haricot verts in a herb butter, spring greens salad with lemony vinaigrette (served as a side, not a course), marinated garden veggies.

Dessert was homemade lemon ice cream, chocolate dipped shortbread cookies, fresh fruit and berries.

This was a meatless dinner, but I've also served the lasagna as a side with herbed baked chicken or a nice ham.
