Wanted: Nettle or Comfrey Seeds for Nettle/Comfrey Tea

This is my first time on the seed exchange and Looking to trade some of my flower and veggie seeds for either Stinging Nettle or Comfrey seeds to make a foul smelling tea as an additive to my vegetable patch. I have been reading a lot about the beneficial aspects of both plants and and willing to try growing it in the back of my garden. Thanks and I am willing to send a SASE.

Wow,didn't know you can eat them! They are a horrible weed problem in my backyard. I just wacked them down a few days ago but they grow fast. If you don't find any soon then let me know and I'll see if I can get you some when they grow back in a week or so. OUCH, LOL!

check my trade list and let me know if you'd like anything - i also have some beacon silver, asters, turtlehead, mallow, lamb's quaters (but i keep trying to get rid of that!!!), and sweet mockorange but I haven't been able to get seeds from any of them yet. Coreopsis is tickseed and I have quite a bit of that.

desertdance - cooking and drying remove the sting. And you need to gather very young nettles for use as a vegetable. They are very nutritious. You can also spin fibre from them. In the UK we grow up getting stung by nettles as they are all over our countryside but the effects only last a few minutes. Maybe we are desensitised? I've yet to meet anyone who grows them intentionally.

Dreaming why shouldn't I drink the tea? It's the best tea I ever had. It doesn't need much sugar and it has alot of medicinal properties. Your offer sounds good to me!
