Don't change anything except for taking off the fruit; container Meyers have a bad reputation for being hard to care for; and everytime you change something the tree "faints". As for sun, the tree can't get too much sun; I grow them in full sun in the tropics and they love it... full production in 3 years. If you are going to put it in the ground, don't change anything until you decide where you want it; and then put it in the ground without fertilizing for at least 2 weeks, maybe a month. The absence of fertility encourages the feeder roots to grow in search of food; and after the roots grow, the top will grow, and that needs food. You might try applying a foliar fertilizer on a regular basis; all my garden trees get foliar every 15 days. I like Bayer Bayfolan Forte; a lot of folks here use Foliage Pro; and there are others, like Greenlight, etc.

hello i agree with all the above to sweeten, you can also use agave syrup or cane juice to keep it healthy, i make my own sauce and have also learned you that wanna keep it refrigerated, i lost some a few weeks ago, you can add a little liquid or powder form vitamin c(ASCORBIC ACID) to preserve it, its perfectly natural and good for you, i also only use sea salt, its good for you and doesn't overpower the flavor of the sauce hope this helps thanks ajijoe

Ooooo, pretty! Thank you soooo much. I see a few hosta vendors selling Ivory Queen, Coconut Custard, but only Jim's Hostas (of the teeny specimens) also has Mellow Mood. And a lot of the hosta sellers don't state that they test for HVX, so I don't want to order from them. Hallsons, Naylor, etc. don't have all the hostas I want. Does Jim's Hostas even test for HVX?

I am going with the traditional Koehler Whitehaven 36 inch cast iron enamel and think i will be very happy. My housekeeper recommended it as well, and she cleans lots of sinks for a living. I appreciate everyone’s feedback.
