I think Houzz is located just 20 minutes up the Peninsula from me in Palo Alto. If they have their customer service locally, that would be the Pacific Time zone. As for the name thing, almost EVERYONE got that message about their name already being taken. Somehow I think there is some kind of doubling effect that goes on when you register with GW. I was absolutely not going to give up my online name so I wrote to customer service and insisted that I am the real, original, one-and-only Rosefolly, and they gave me back my name. I think the same kind of thing is going on with many GW users. I believe that if it is important to you (it was to me) and if you persist, you can get your name back. Rosefolly

Making the text a darker bolder black color with in the actual body of the post and replies would not even be seen on the main pages so that surely can't be the logic, if so it is flawed. You would actually have to click on a topic to view the post and then see the darker font. But they are already using the perfect color on the houzz heading, the dark houzz top left beside the icon. And they changed it on the main pages for the posters name, so why the problem with doing it here in the replies where it's desperately needed. If anyone knows of any way to alter the fonts and colors for an Android browser please post your suggestions. I am currently using Boat browser which does have themes and I am using one but no browser I have tried has font color choices.

I've been following this post promising myself I would answer in between the numerous contractors coming to my house! . I don't know if it's possible but I would love to see a post for "approved layouts". A lot of houses have similar layouts and if they don't maybe someone building can fish for one they like and apply it to their house plan. I know we all have different needs and such but there is one thing all the people who come to this forum have in common... They love functional, efficient layouts. I searched for a long time for a similar layout that was already critiqued before posting my own (with sweats knowing some would hate the restrictions I had). I found one that was similar and buehl, lavendar, bensje, sena, funki, mama, and the rest of the layout lovers gave their input. I ended sifting through all the ideas and used the ones that worked for my situation. I can't thank enough the people who take the time to find an answer to our problems.

I have an update! I didn't get a response from StarCrafts, but I should have checked the mass.gov website for the Board of Registration of Plumbers and Gas Fitters first. That manufacturer isn't approved by the Board, and (of course) none of their products are approved for sale or installation in Massachusetts. Oh well. Back to the ol' drawing board. I think I'd prefer to use a full Symmons set up, then. If anyone knows of models similar to the [Inolav[(https://www.houzz.com/products/delia-shower-set-two-functions-brushed-nickel-prvw-vr~85910607) I was looking at (thermostatic valve, anti-scald safety stop, quality solid brass levers and plates, ceramic valve, in brushed/satin nickel, etc.) please let me know!
