accessible gardening on the porch??

i'm new to this forum and new to possible accessible gardening

dh and i built our retirement home this past year we have 4 acres and a "farmhouse style" house with lots of porches (about 1000 square ft) i have always been a gardener from antique roses to butterfly gardening to fragrance gardening very little vegetable gardening

i've had the first 5 vertebra in my neck fused and both hips replaced in the last 5 years (last one in January)

now i've got all this space (with only grass and 36 live oak trees) and i don't know if i can physically garden anymore here it is planting time (we did plant 2 citrus trees i'd had in pots) but i don't know what to do

the largest portion of our porches are screened and have a southeasterly orientation front porch (12x45) has a northern exposure and elevated breezeway has both southerly and northerly exposure

any of you accessible gardeners doing "porch" gardening? does it "satisfy your

gardening "appetite"?
