Probably no point in saying this, but will anyway. Sometimes you have to weigh the pleasure and personal contact people get from forwards versus viruses. They have no interest in learning no matter what you tell them or how often you tell them, to them it just is away to communicate. I use to check my emails dozens of times a day, hoping for a joke or story. This was before I went online, at that time I did not realize using the internet was a way to satisfy my never ending curiosity. When I went online I didn't know about viruses, spyware and trojans, well maybe I did know about trojans. Because of my curiosity I have learned how to care for my PC and enjoy it and the learning. My friends think I am a whizz with the PC and who am I to tell them otherwise. LOL In spite of my earlier lack of knowledge regarding viruses, spyware, etc., I survived and so did the people I emailed. The main problem with lack of knowledge of the PC is the loss of important documents and family photos because they don't know how to back up. Now off my soap box and will think about where to go for lunch.

I saw it this morning and the first thing that came to my mind about Ellen, the very strange hamd model, was, "Geez, she is waaay weird LOL." I could not imagine how she exists on a daily basis. Her DH must be a saint....or a sinner. Discliamer: If you're easily embarassed, please excuse my next few sentences ~ One of my DH's first comments was something to the effect of, "She obviously doesn't "touch" her husband, or enjoy "pleasing" him. He probably has a mistress." ;o)

Karen I haven't heard of her. I tend to read more 'thrillers' and I admit I get most of my recommendations from another forum that I participate in that is just for Mysteries & Thrillers. Authors such as Brian Haig and Steven Hartov and Thomas Cook...I would have to refer back to my Book Log but I have enjoyed all those recommendations. I use The Fantasic Fiction web site or "Stop Your Killing Me" for the lists of titles by the authors in the order written which I prefer when the author has a recurring main character. Pat
