Very pretty! I like the image very much. What do you do with your puzzles when you have finished them?

DH and I do a puzzle once in a while, but we haven't opened the puzzle mat we bought a couple years ago.

Love that puzzle. I did a Springbok puzzle similar to that one years ago. I keep my puzzles to do again but first lend them to my friend's Mom who loves doing jigsaws. My sister LIzzie always got me a puzzle every year for Christmas and I would do it over the holidays. Since she has passed away I sure miss getting a puzzle from her. She chose the best puzzles.

Alice_ca I take them apart and late will share them with a cousin or donate them to our towns heritage day where there is a book and puzzle booth.

I'm waiting for a snow day to do one...if we ever get one.

I love puzzles, you all have some great ones. I use Jidigi instead of buying puzzles. I don't have anything but the dining room table to work them on and it's just easier to do them online :)Jigidi

I bought a board on a site called jig things. It is so much nicer than using a table. You can move it anywhere, there are edges so pieces don't fall off and you can prop it up so you can see the top or control the glare. I also bought the table. The place is good to order from. My first table had two broken casters, so they sent me a replacement table and let me keep the other one also.

Kittywhiskers, love the puzzle. I like puzzles that have a lot going on in the picture.

And Emma, love that many variety pictures in your puzzle. About your board, how big is it? I am working a 1000 piece puzzle now which must go on a table where I sit on a stool that is about 8 inches higher than a chair. Gives me better reach over the puzzle. Problem is I have physical limitations and my back kills me if I work sitting on that stool for more than an hour at a time. I normally stick to puzzles no more that 20 x 24 while sitting in my glide rocker with my feet on a glide foot stool. I use a styrofoam board over the arms of the rocker. Works pretty well, but that eliminates larger puzzles.

The board is 28 by 20 and it is for 1000 pc puzzles. Some puzzles have bigger pieces so not all will fit on the board. You need to check the measurements of the puzzles if that is important to you. It is to me. I have 5 or 6 puzzles that are collages. One is of birds. They are fun to work. This one has been on the table for awhile because I had trouble sitting in that position so long. The 1,000 pc boards are $59. and worth every penny of it if work a lot of puzzles. If you know a wood worker he could make you one. This one is very light weight.

Kittywhiskers really like the puzzle by any chance is it a Charles Wysocki puzzle? Emma like your puzzles, too. And I like your puzzle table. We do puzzles some times, they are fun to do.

Thank you Janey, I did puzzles as a young person when we had small children and only one car and off an on during those years. I had forgotten how much it is to watch a pretty picture come together. If you lived here I would give you my extra table, no casters but would still be good.

Well Emma I do appreciate the thought. When I was growing up in Illinois we always had a jigsaw puzzle going in the family room during the winter. And we did them when the girls were younger. I will see if I can post a picture of the Noah's Ark one we completed last month. It was hard but oh so beautiful! And yes-I do remember the years of having one car.

I love seeing your puzzles. Emma, that table is very cool. I usually just do a puzzle at Christmas when my brother and niece come to visit. But I did one over again recently and remembered how much fun they are. I need to go look for some new ones. My sister-in-law sent me a 1,000 piece Sistine Chapel ceiling puzzle. I haven't opened it yet, but I now have a dining room table big enough to try it. Here is one that we did at Christmas a few years ago. 100 dogs and a cat. We have had a few of these 100 ___ and a ___. They are a lot of fun.

janey_alabama It is an Anthony Kleem puzzle. I like Charles Wysocki and Jane Wooster Scott. I didn't realize so many people on here did jigsaw puzzles. I love doing them and always have one on the go even in the summer.

I think that one would drive me nuts.

gazania, that one would drive me crazy. I don't enjoy them if the are to frustrating. I like one with a variety of colors, big blobs of color. I also like building because of the lines in the picture which helps me. I prefer 500 or 550 piece puzzles.

Emma, a friend gave me that one with the houses and windmill last fall. I put it with the pile of 32 that I have in waiting. I haven't done it yet. Puzzles pass through at least 5 other puzzle doers I know and are eventually given to either the local VA Hospital or the Humane Society for sale at their flea market booth.

Nice puzzles everyone! I have seen Jane Scott puzzles before in the store but have never have bought one. Not familiar with Anthony Kleem. And I only have 10 puzzles in waiting-LOL!
