OMG, I think I broke my.....
Comments (22)Wow, do I know that a broken toe hurts. I was a senior in highschool, running laps in gym to warm up, and was elbowed by a boy running past me. I nearly fell flat on my face but caught myself and jarred my shoulders. My toe didn't hurt then, but my shoulders did. Then I went to play badminton and my big toe just suddenly started hurting like an Acme anvil from the cartoons had fallen on it. Well, it was first period, I was stupid, and the gym teacher already hated me for being an asthmatic and having to sit out sometimes. So I played badminton. My toe went numb. I went to all my classes like nothing was wrong... but after school when I took my shoe off, my toe was swollen nearly double and was nice pretty bruised colors. Mom took me to the ER, it was broken in several spots. I got a nice shoe to wear, heh. It still gives me problems, and likely always will. Anyway, glad you are feeling better....See MoreOMG...Another dog big food recall....
Comments (42)That is a good link, thanks Natal! Sooo, my dog's food is only a 3.5 (Wellness Super 5 Chicken Adult Dogs), hmmm, I don't plan on changing at all as my dogs have been on it (one of them) for 11 years and they are both very healthy and active. But I also give them a considerable portion of pure meat each day which they love. I think this is funny too, once years ago, I gave one of the dogs a very rare piece of steak, she didn't know what to do with it and licked it awhile but never ate it. And she is my "food motivated" dog. So no raw food for her! However, I hate even typing this, but with my next dogs I will go with something completely different. Probably homemade cooked food....See MoreI would like your Whole Foods recommendations please!
Comments (25)Thank you all so much! I will definately keep my eye out for those! We did get the pizza dough, but it wasn't frozen, so now I will look for the frozen. We tried the fresh whole wheat pizza dough last night for pizza on our Big Green Egg. It was really good! msrose, I have tried the goat milk and it isn't bad, how do you like it? It taste like cow's milk to me, but with a bit of a twang, I'm sure I could get used to it. It is suppose to be SO MUCH better than cow's milk that has caseine, which can cause cancer. I know, can't just about everything?? Frustrating! The WF lunchmeat deli did look really good, but we already had quite a bit left, so wanted to use that up first, The roast beef looked delish! Will definately be back for that! And the roast turkey, since you mentioned it! I've been making smoothies for my DS with all the organic fruits (I sneak in a little spinach too). He loves them!...See Moresale @ whole foods-- whole chickens $.99 lb
Comments (7)I agree, compumom, that's a bargain. Here I can't even get the "injected-full-of-saline-solution-fed-full-of-antibiotics" chickens for 99 cents a pound, usually, and I refuse to buy the mushy/salty things, I have to look for the organic birds. We don't eat a lot of chicken, only because I've got a freezer full of beef, pork and venison, but if I do I usually buy thighs because I like that much better than the dryer and less flavorful (to me) breast meat. Right now I have 15 "chicken nuggets" growing in the "nursery", so they'll be in the freezer in a couple of months. Until then, I'll buy chicken when I need it. Too bad the closest WF is 200 miles away or I'd have snapped up that bargain. Ah well, someday the companies will decide that there is life in Michigan north of Detroit. Annie...See MoreUser
