OMG, I think I broke my.....

baby toe! Dang...it hurts like #ell!

Monday night as I was preparing to turn in for the evening, I shut off the lamps in the living room and headed toward the stairs. WHAM!!!!! I whacked my foot on the leg of the coffee table, I whacked it hard! A few....no, several...cuss words later, I headed upstairs thinking I was a klutz.

Fast forward to yesterday morning. Got up, toes still hurt. Turn on the light, the baby toe is 3 x it's normal size and a beautiful shade of violet. Could not get shoes on so had to wear flip flops to work (yes I worked at the clinic yesterday). They frown on flip-flops there, but not alot I could do about that.

Today it is blue and purple into my foot and still terribly swollen. I just bumped it and it nearly sent me through the roof.

I am pretty sure it's broken, but I really don't think they can do much for a broken pinky-toe, can they? (I know we have a nurse or two here....)

Should I go get it checked or just wait it out until it heals?

Thanks!

Limpa...I mean Linda
