Comments (12)Aww I like Jack! You're right, if he's already responding to it, easier for him to leave it as Jack. We were told our Roxie was Roxanne when they gave her away, so shortened name worked great for her. My crack about his ears was just a joke, he looks like a little doll, bat ears and all. Isn't it sweet the way they often pick a person? Our boy Forrest is all Dad's, he pines for him even if he just goes out to move his truck. Meanwhile, Roxie doesn't bat an eye, until I come home, then it's love time for her. Hope you get to enjoy a lot of happy years with Jack!...See MoreNew name: MelissaaiPapa
Comments (27)Hi Tamara (apologies to Melissa for switching topics on her post, but this seems to be a new site to communicate with Tamara at Houzz): I've had recent irresolvable problems posting pictures in comments or my own posts lately. I'm on Safari on a Mac, and I have tried three or four strategies to post photos. When I click on the regular photo link, nothing happens (either single or double click). When I click on Houzz photo, I can find and select the photo I want, but it will not upload, even though the upload button "clicks". I've tried submitting that anyway, and there's an unrecognizable icon on the message if I do. I've also tried cutting and pasting photos from the original photo or other sites, although that's not the recommended method, and that hasn't worked either. I know I can do this because I've posted photos before from the same computer in Safari, so has something changed recently? I've seen other people posting about trouble with photos, so it seems like there may have been changes behind the scenes. Thanks for checking Cynthia...See MoreOld/new names
Comments (15)Hi. Yesterday, I received an e-mail from Houzz, giving me a link that gave me the option of using my GW name for this forum. So I am back to my GW username of 'day2day'. Yeah! I deleted the post made in this thread that used my old name. ~Geraldine...See Morenancyjane_gardener
