Tamara, thanks for taking input. Upload feature: Needs to be tweaked so the image info stays in the browse box after one clicks preview. Several times a day people post and wonder why their picture is missing. It's because they clicked preview, edited their comments again. This causes the picture to disappear. Please fix this!! Main forum page: If this was dynamic, that would save a lot of time. Many forums have an indicator to tell you if a forum has new posts since your last visit. I like to stay current in about 25 of the GW forums, and it takes a lot of time to click each one to see if there are new posts. Email notifications: Thanks for adding these, but only one notice should be needed per thread. TripAdvisor sends one notice only until you re-visit a thread, no matter how many new posts are added, until you visit it again. PLEASE PLEASE fix it so paragraphs can be used in profile info! It would be so cool to be able to access the pictures each user has uploaded via a link in their profile. Thanks & have a great day!

Flora is right. A post with a tricky ID can often be silent until someone posts an incorrect ID! :) It is a nice idea though. Simple buttons to add italics and bold formatting, etc. to text may help those not acquainted with HTML tags to add formatting. This is a "nice" feature as opposed to a "requirement" in my opinion. Some newer forum sites have avatar picture and "ratings" based upon how frequently the posters make posts functionality. The ratings give people a clue as to "regulars" and forum "experts" plus some recognition to those folks that do make the forums alive. And the avatar pics is just one of those little bits of personality and customization people like. I've been a regular of one forum or another since Usenet days when everything was text only and so I personally don't have to have such things but I would expect this type of upgrade to be liked by many. I will admit that I have not been here much lately because some of us would like a slit where one site would focus oon total garden material such as landscaping and leaning more towards plants and not vegetable gardening. The other site would be for vegetable gardening in Florida. I would like to see the logo plant changed to reflect a more modern look to the page. I would personally like being able to have my picture be posted as part of my name so that when I post people can see what I look like along with my name. I sincerely like HTML capabilities along with the back archives that go back at least a minimum f ten years. I would like the capability of placing a picture of a plant I am seeking to match with one in question in a sise by side comparison so that the person seeling an ID can see what we are referring to without having to give a link. I've made this suggestion in the past, but I still think it's a valid one (although not to me at this point in my life). When we are on the main page of the cooking forum, there is a link for related forums. I think if "kitchens" was considered related and you could navigate back and forth with the two forums, that would make life easier for many people. Many people migrate from "kitchens" to "cooking" and still go back to give advice once their new kitchen is done. Also, I think it would be helpful if a thread indicated if anybody posted to it since you last visited. I know the new email notification helps that now, but there may be a thread that I am following but haven't added my two cents yet; however I would still like to know others' contributions. On the Pinterest/FB issue, I am totally addicted to Pinterest. I use it for many things, including recipes. However, I use a completely different identity because I don't want to connect it to FB. None of my friends or family need to know I just copy others' ideas and I'm really not that creative ;) I have posted so much personal information on here at a very difficult time in my life. I knew it would always be out there for the world, but it wasn't something my friends/family could easily stumble upon, so I was a little more free with my thoughts. I think of the conversation side of this as a place to b*tch out my sister when I'm mad at her or just cry with my cyber friends. I don't want that to link up to FB. Those are some of the people I'm b*tching about or am mad at. ;)
