Wonderful mid-century ranch

cheryls67 posted this in the Old Houses forum, and I thought architecture fans here would enjoy seeing it too. The house has some mid-century design quirks (the angled LR windows, the wrought iron room divider between the LR & FR), but on the whole is a beautiful house. Isn't the pool house fabulous!

Is that a red tile roof that needs cleaning? There were some beautiful 50s ranches in New Orleans I loved that had blonde brick, verdigris gutters, & red tile roofs too. I think it was a material/color combo inspired by FLW, but not sure how I know that.

Here is a link that might be useful: mid-century blonde brick & fieldstone ranch
