Celebrity kitchens, anyone?

All upscale, of course. UPscale. :-)

I can't say I'm wild about any of them. I liked parts of several kitchens (Robin Williams, Ellen Degeneres, even Robert Pattinson, to name a few), but would probably feel most comfortable in Renee Zellweger's--most likely because the kitchen is in a Connecticut farmhouse.

White must be the trending kitchen color.

I must admit, I am not jealous of any of them. I don't see any real personality showing through, just a designer's idea of what is great.

Least favorites are Debra Messing (tile and floor) and LeBron James (too dark and oppressive). Some of the layouts are not very good. Jake Gyllenhaal has the washer/dryer in the kitchen....really?! I like Michelle Williams'.....no walking around the island to get from stove, to fridge to sink. Like the simplicity and compactness of Patrick Dempsey's too...but where does the poor maid/cook prep?

Carla I have been taking so many pictures of my Living Easy. I absolutely love, love, love the color of it. I bought 4 of them last year and the middle of a couple of them was trying to die on me but it shot several shoots out on the side so it still looks ok. Hasn't stopped all those gorgeous blooms though. Our Home Depot got in some Carefree Celebration and I bought me one today so I hope it does good. The color looks real pretty and the bloom is on the smaller side. Judy

Kelly, of course fresh black-eyed peas are better, like any bean/veggie is. But the Ranch Style peas are excellent. They're not a bean that's hard to like. I cook both fresh and use canned when I don't have time to simmer a pot all day. We have a fresh hamhock in the freezer that I'm saving for ham and pinto beans. Yum!

I watched a couple of the Family Feud episodes. I love Steve Harvey, and his expressions when it was apparent that the contestants knew next to nothing about how the game is played were priceless! I'm in the process of putting together a Family Feud game for an upcoming work event, and I think it's going to be a blast. One of our really funny execs (who is African American) is going to play the part of Steve. Yesterday I found myself searching online for a believable "bald wig" for him to wear, which is one of the more unusual things I've had to do job-wise in awhile. ;-)

I liked them ALL!!!! I don't think they put a LOT of personality/functionality into them...they just purchased them that way....

The lighting needs to be track and pointed towards work areas. The work areas need to be arranged. ie: a pantry next to a pastry/roll out work area. A fruit bowl on the counter for easy access. A pastry or cake stand. Linens on the tables..
