Portable seating for TV viewing?
Comments (2)You mentioned camp type seat and something that could be folded up. If you just need this occasionally, why not one of the canvas camping chairs. We have a set that we leave in the trunk of the car during the summer. They fold up and fit into bags. They are made of canvas, have strong aluminum legs, arms, and a place to hold a can or glass. They come in a variety of colors. This is NOT inside furniture, but if you just need the seating for movies, why not. They come in a variety of sizes include some oversize ones that are very comfortable. They even have loveseat ones. Just a thought...See More2 loveseats facing each other - coffee table??
Comments (3)I echo both of the above. Do you really plan to face someone and recline? use an ottoman with a tray for serving if you want a coffee table AND a feet up spot. Reclining sofas are a "never" IMO, but two facing each other-I do t even get the reason for that....See Morehelp with design for seating and TV viewing
Comments (21)You might check out ruggable.com for the wine area - washable for spills. Perhaps the colors from your art pieces would be good in the rug and pillows. Since the wine are seems quite dark, look to add brighter colors there. Do you plan/have window coverings for the sliders?...See MoreHelp with design for seating and TV viewing
Comments (2)That is a challenging floor plan. I would try a round dining table in the corner nearest the kitchen. Float a sofa in the room with it's back to the dining area, and put a console/TV on the wall directly across from the sofa. Then use an arm chair floating in front of the terrace doors. An alternative would be a TV in the corner near the kitchen, with the sofa on the window wall facing the kitchen, and a chair on the end. Then the dining table could be placed near the terrace doors. You will have to measure to see what works best. If you could use the study for a TV room, you would have a lot more furniture arrangement options in your open area....See MoreUser
