What a lovely thread to ring in the season! I've got only a couple "old" hyacinths up- they keep hanging on in the dreadful spot they're in (I thought I pulled them all up this past fall); the rest are still little green pokey pine-cone-heads sticking up outta the ground. Got zone envy over here; we won't see the show most of you have for a few weeks yet. I figure we're nearly a month behind Z7. But the weather is improving, today it's over 70!!! (I hope my Winter-sown sprouties don't melt in the heat today since I forgot to open them- shoot!)

I use DropBox which is a service that gives you 2 free gigabytes of public storeage. It also gives you folder-like access to these files from you computer. Files in the Public folder of your DropBox folder are publicly accessible. You just right-click over any of them and select "Copy Public Link" and that will grab the necessary public URL string that you need. In your GardenWeb post you insert the following: (a href="URL")Label(/a) or (img src="URL" /) You would need to use angled brackets () instead of the parenthesis I used above. I did that just so it would show up correctly. Where the above examples have URL you would paste in the public URL from DropBox or any other source, keeping the double quotes. The first example with (a href) puts in a link instead of an actual image. This is useful since people can choose if they want to download the image or not. In this case your replace "Label" with the appropriate link text. The second example (img) inserts the actual image right onto your posting.

wow, what inpiration. We moved into our new house on 2 acres with little to no landscaping. Needless to say we have lots to do so I love this thread for ideas! I have been keeping a powerpoint show going on my computer of nice ideas and I got tons from here! Do you use Yahoo? If you do, open your email and look to the top right it will say "Options" click it then it will say "Mail Options" click it on the far left it will have "Signature" Click it you will then find a email looking page, thats where you will type in a signature or paste a picture. Hope it helps.
