Hi Kwyet1, Most non actual trade posts are to be asked on the Conversation side of the forum here. There is a link to Conversations just above the list of all the threads on page 1. There are mixed feelings about having pics on one's page, and the size of them is very important if you do use them, as many members are still on dial-up. Here is a thread discussing it. How many want photos included in trade page? While that does not explain how to do it, it might be of interest anyway. I'm sure someone will be along in a bit and add more here, and hopefully maybe just how to do it and have small pics. I know there is a site called Tiny pics that is useful if one wants/needs to post smaller pics, but I am not familiar with it. See my trade page. I have included clickable links to a few things for trade that I have my own pictures of. That way if anyone 'wants' to see it, they can, yet it won't slow down a dial-up user much...like a pic would. You can also stop over to the GW Test Forum and folks there can help both with making smaller pics, and including clickable links. There are a few 'regulars' there that are quite knowledgeable and will work with you until you get it. We have been having some fun there with HTML... FYI...GW sometimes will move posts off of the Discussion side to the Conversation side, so if you aren't finding your post, just check Conversations...no real biggie. A friend on a non-hippi list sends a photo of her cool CAKE and there is a hippi in the background. She replies that she knows nothing of this Apple Blossom (not an AB) and you say that it looks like Pink Diamond and suggest she looks it up on the internet. She replies that she did a GOOGLE search for Pink Diamond and lo and behold her search reveals a photo that you took posted on this photo. She then refers to you as a wealth of knowledge and starts bombarding you with questions...and of course you encourage her to join the FORUM!! K

The easiest way I found to do pictures on here is to use the free site Photobucket. Upload your pics to an album, and make that album public (for viewing). Each picture on there has a link you can click to embed the code into a web page. It copies that code to your clipboard, then you just paste into your post. After first pic in post, then drop down a line or two and go through the same process with your second, third, fourth, etc. pics. Easy as pie to use Photobucket in this way, and, is recommend by many on the GW forums. Hope this helps, Bryan

I knew I could count on this forum to come up with some suggestions. The first thing I'm going to try is one of the ideas from vintage image craft, using parchment paper and my own fabric. If this doesn't work, I'll look for some of the printable fabrics. I did a little research on my own, too. I came up with a product called Omni-Gel, a photo transfer liquid. However, it looks like I can only get it on-line from JoAnn's. With this, I think I can transfer the image to a larger piece of fabric and avoid having to do any piecing, but I'm so anxious to get started on this project, I think I'll give the parchment paper a try. I'll let you know if it works. In the meantime, if anyone has ever used the Omni-Gel, I'd love to hear from you.
