I like room temperature water or slightly chilled. Sometimes I will be in the mood for ice water but not often. I also drink a lot of tea. No coffee or soda.

Cold, either from the fridge or with cubes. Tap water sometimes makes me nauseated, I have not idea why but I remember my Mom used to tell me that and I thought she was weird...HAHA! So now here I am years later just like my Mom in so many ways! :)

Filtered and cold. I keep a filled Brita pitcher in my fridge.

I keep a pitcher in the fridge with lemons, ginger and cucumbers sliced in the water for when I am at home. At work, I have a case of bottled water in the staff fridge. Try and get in 8 glasses ( 2 liters) a day at home......at work I go through up to 4 or 5 liters a day. It can get over 40 C most days in the valley during July and August.

I hate the taste of our tap water, but filter it so that I can glug down lots of it. Water is my primary liquid, with occasional glasses of tea.

The old recommendation of 8 glasses (8oz.) of water per day has been replaced by "half your body weight in ounces", more if you are very active or it's very dry, hot, etc. So.....I had better like like my water!

We all need to like our water.

I'm very picky about my water. I don't like ice, lemon or any other flavours. I can't drink water with a straw and it must be in a glass (some people can drink water from a coffee mug but I can't, LOL).

Cool and filtered, from the refrigerator's in-door dispenser. Ice cold water hurts my tummy. Our tap water is fine, but a little cooler is better.

I have with me 24 - 7 a big bubba insulated water bottle /container filled with ice and water, water from the fridge which is cold and filtered. It is right beside me at night when I sleep because I wake up often to get a sip.
With Sjogrens syndrome it's essential to have water with me since I lack saliva. I drink a lot of water and rarely anything else except occasionally at a restaurant I have iced tea unsweetened.

At home, not picky...can come straight from the tap or with ice. If traveling away from home, BOTTLED. When at my condo in Florida, Spring water in gallon containers from grocery is used for all cooking where the water is actually consumed (as in coffee, soups, mixes) and not just drained off (as in spaghetti). It is NASTY from the tap.

Bottled, room temp is the best. I don't like ice in my water. Once in awhile I will drink a cold one but it takes a long time to drink.

At home, I drink mountain spring water at room temperature. Tap water is an okay second choice but I prefer the taste of spring water. I also drink room temperature carbonated mineral water.

When out (when not ordering bottled water, which I sometimes do) , I always ask for water with no ice. If you saw how grungy the ice makers are at some restaurants, you'd do the same.

I mostly drink tap water out of a reusable water bottle with a charcoal filter. Occasionally, especially in the summer, I love to have water over crushed ice. For a special treat, I might splurge on Perrier with lime or lemon. Nothing tastes as good to me as water.

Our tap water is considered one of the best in the U.S. No chlorine smell to it. It comes from an underground aquafier. I like it with crushed ice from the door of my fridge. I quit drinking pop a couple of years ago and drink lots of tap water.

I usually request "water, no ice, a slice of lime". It seems pretty simple, but often, including tonight, they just can't seem to get it right. Really, how hard is it to not put ice in the water? I mean, if worse comes to worse, you could make a glass of water, with ice, and then scoop out the ice and throw it away, and top it up with water, and as simply as that, problem solved.

But it seems they are so used to filling a glass to the top with ice so that they can save money on soda, that even when you ask for water, they fill the glass with ice by reflex.

I hardly ever drink water. I drink iced or hot tea though. If I do have waster it's fridge filtered. When we vacationed in the fall mountains I loved the water!! I even brought done home lol

We have a well that is almost 400 feet deep; the water comes down from the mountains, and there are no homes nearby. Our water is the best I've ever tasted! (Our plumber said he would kill to have water as pure as ours.)

That said, I drink tap water (or water from the fridge door), with ice cubes. I drink two cups of coffee every morning, and then water or decaf iced tea the rest of the day. A six-pack of sodas would definitely last me for two years or more!

I like it room temp from my pink water bottle, and after a hard day's work outside in the summer, ice cold and guzzled.

Glenda, you did forget to say 'with a straw'. After moving to the South over 40 years ago I had to smile at people in restaurants who always had to have a straw, even for their water.
We have very good water where I live, so I'm very happy to drink it from the tap. I never use bottled water, because of all those one-use plastic bottles, but will fill up my reuseable water bottle with tap water.
Other than that, I'm not a bit particularl about how it's served.

I drink tap water plain during the winter but I love it with ice in the summer. I also enjoy a diet soda now and then especially in hot weather. I also drink 2 large mugs of coffee in the morning.

My friend doesn't drink water with ice. Does like her water cold.

She'll get a takeout of crushed ice and munch on it in the car :o)

I drink mass quantities of water...at room temperature, poured straight from the 2 1/2 gallon water jug to my waiting glass. Our city water is nasty; I have to buy the large jugs of water. I have my own bottles to fill for taking with me if I go to town.
Sometimes I'll put a thin slice of lemon, or orange, in it; if I have either on hand.

In restaurants I have to always ask for "no ice," and usually get ice anyway. Then I have to ask for refills.

I fill two one-gallon pitchers from the tap daily. I let them set for 24 hours to disperse the chlorine before "serving." This is what I use to fill the dogs' bowls. I wish I could provide bottled water for them, but since they drink so much, too, it's "aired" tap water for them. They do seem to appreciate the water that has set out for 24 hours. They turn their noses up at the smelly stuff straight from the tap.

I water my house plants with bottled water. I have only four - a shamrock, a mother-in-law's tongue, a Christmas cactus - and a large pot of English Ivy - and they are watered twice a week, so they don't use too much.

I don't like water very much.

I try to get the recommended eight glasses of water a day. From the tap, no ice. I drink 1-2 cups of coffee a day, sometimes enjoy a cup of tea and rarely drink sodas.

When I first moved into my current home, we had wonderful tasting water. A few years ago, the municipal water switched the resource of water and I cannot abide the taste of the water currently. Shamefully, I have resorted to buying bottled water which I drink at room temperature.

I usually have one cup of coffee in the early morning. Rarely drink tea, but do have a cocktail or two in the evening.

My favorite-outta the hose. A once in awhile fun thing to do. Other than that, spring water in a glass over ice.
