Terrene, All in all, it probably cost us about $8,000 to do the job ourselves. Maybe a bit more. But we definitely saved ourselves over $12,000 doing it ourselves. And honestly, sure it was labor intensive (although I gotta say that those hydraulic post hole diggers are SOOOOOOOO worth the rental fees). But not too bad. If we hadn't been doing the majority of the work on weekends, in between social functions, we would've had the fence up sooner. Though I will admit, staining the fence is the worst part. We're looking at a good 4 full days of staining ahead of us.

Hi DancingMoons! I too grew Moulan Rouge. They are quite striking. Mine looked almost chocolate brown rather than red. Last year I had smaller type sunflowers that I cut off the bloom and hung it upside down in my garage. They germinated fine this year. And moonflowers! I have been trying to grow these things for 3 years...finally this year they were lush and loaded with blooms. I dont think its necessary to cover the pod with cheesecloth. As an experiment I cut one off, put it in a cool dry place, and it did get brown and crinkly just like morning glories. I got 4 seeds out of that pod. I'm going to leave some on the vine to dry out. Good luck!

I did when I bought diapers for my grandkids. They gave me a year's worth of Prime to go with it, and when that ran out I paid the yearly fee. I shop at Amazon for 75% of my online shopping, and living in the country it really pays off. Just the other day I ordered two air mattresses that weighed a ton. The S&H alone would have cost a fortune.

I have the lamps with the New LED lights that are 5000k and 100watt equivalent. My other plants I have, and asked about in other posts are doing better since getting them but are still transitioning to the brightness and light quality. old light typ up top. New down bottom. There are more plants in back of those pots. (they hide well but the light is over the top so they all get light) 50/50 cactus succulent soil/perlite mix (maybe a bit more perlite as I mix a bit more in as potting. And the water after a couple days from potting with the root ones. Sounds like a plan! Will do as advised with new plants. Reporting them in a few minutes. I also bought a nice healthy new plant but I don't want to show that one right now until I repot it and it's friends and I'll show them all together. :-) Edit: the white crap you see outside is a snowstorm we are having. There is heat over there more than the rest of the room as the heater is below the window and I turned the heat up in response to it getting colder outside.
