Pottery Barn Twill Sofa - Cream
Comments (4)FYI, JCPenney makes a fantastic knock off of the cream twill pottery barn sofa. It's less expensive and very good quality. It's part of their Linden Hill product line and it's called the "Friday" sofa. I have a few pieces from this collection and have been very impressed with the designs and the quality. Highly recommend you look at it. Also, FWIW, Pottery Barn will give you free samples of all their fabrics. They have little sample cards made up. They are very generous with the samples at my local store....See MorePottery Barn Pearce Sofas in Microsuede.
Comments (5)I dont like microsuede. It is terrible to keep clean, and cat hair sticks to it. I had a chair, which I really liked, but because it was microsuede, and I have a cat, I finally took it out of the house and put it by the road for give away. My grandaughter has a microsuede sofa and love seat, and now has put slip covers on it, because, she has 3 kids and every spot she cleaned, showed up when it was dry. She has started looking for replacement, and is having a hard time finding something she likes, that isnt microsuede. I love the color and style of the sofa you are looking at, but, I would never buy it because of the fabric. Just my opinion. :-))...See MorePottery Barn delivery experience?
Comments (35)I would rate it a zero if I could. Terrible experience. Ordered a rug and was told a 4 week delivery. It was four months. Rug was sitting in a warehouse in GA for 6 weeks so I knew it was available for delivery. No communication, delivery dates would come and go with no communication, I had to follow up myself. Finally received my rug yesterday! Supposed to be delivered by11:30, I got it at 2. I was ok with that. Guy who delivered it sliced open the packaging and also sliced the rug right through. Customer service was atrocious. Hung up on twice. Was offered ten percent off the rug or a new one to be delivered in 2 to 4 weeks. I almost cried. I told the customer service rep that she stop quoting delivery times that are lies. Asked if she got a lot of complaints about delivery times. Crickets. Talked to supervisor and he seemed concerned and was sort of helpful. Asked him to be honest with me regarding ever shifting delivery dates and he said it rarely happens. I told him it happened to me on my last two orders. It is truly a shame. I have ordered thousands of dollars of merchandise from them over the past two decades. They were my store of choice for rugs, windows, pillows, etc. because they had good quality and good customer service. I will never order from PB again. They should spend the money they use on sending me a thousand emails a week and on their website and work on their quality and service issues....See MoreSlipcovered Sofas: Crate&Barrel vs PotteryBarn
Comments (5)I was/am (can't make up my mind!) considering a slipcovered loveseat or sofa for our sunroom. A blog friend recently bought one from Ikea and is very happy with it. Of course, she hasn't had it long. Do you have Ikea? We don't. There is also one at JCPenney (Linden St.) that got good reviews (look at their webpage, then furniture and you can read reviews on the pieces), especially after they changed the covering of the down stuffed cushions. The only complaint I remember reading was that sometimes the feather would poke out. They have since changed the covering. We dont' have Crate and Barrel here and I have not looked at the sofas in our Pottery Barn. It is a smaller store, I don't think they have alot of the furniture. Let us know what you decide! LOL It might help me in my decision. tina...See Morejoycedc
