Cats vs. Dogs Funny!!!
Comments (6)I love that. Our poor dogs get so worried when the cats come near and try to rub up on them. One of the cats ADORES the dogs, and wants to lay with them, but they're all afraid of him! One of my cats has taken over the dog bed in my office-but only when the dogs aren't in there with me. The dogs aren't afraid of that cat, and he actually encourages them to chase him....See MoreFree Cats and Dogs Listings on Craigslist, etc.
Comments (6)I've seen and heard many, many stories of not only bait dogs and other bait animals, but fighting dogs, and stories of family pets that are kidnapped and TORTURED by conscienceless throwaway kids. Just google these subjects. I've attached a pic and a link to only a couple of many local stories in my area about stolen and tortured family pets. (I think if you click on the pic, the image will get bigger) I'm shocked at how many people I know personally that are clueless about how pervasive these horrors are. I understand that people don't want to have to read about or acknowledge the ugly elements of our OVERALL society, but a quote like the above that is circulated among such sheltered people will, hopefully, enlighten people to the point that they will be more protective of their pets -- the innocent, tortured victims of such ignorance. If you want proof of the validity of the above quote, google dog fighting and read all about it. There are dog fighting forums where these despicable people give each other tips, etc. - even on Yahoo. I personally cannot stomach it and, therefore, only read about it in detail once in a great while. The stories are haunting. Comments (5)I understood that it's a myth that cats separated from their mothers too early will exhibit this kneading/sucking behavior. We kept a mother cat and 4 of her kittens(sigh) and they were nursing a looooong time until Millymoo indicated she'd had enough. They were still trying to nurse at the 6.month mark when we took them all to get neutered. Two of 4, now 10 years old, love to knead and suck on the corner of a blanket. No trauma of being taken from mum too early-think they just like to do it. We had a mini schnauzer too a few years back who loved to suck/chew on the edge of her ratty blanket. She'd twist it up underneath herself and fall asleep with the corner in her mouth. It might've been a security issue for her as she'd been with 2 other families before ours but her blanket had been with her since puppyhood I was told....See MoreWhich Miele Upright Vacuum? Comments (5)Choose the add ons that are important to you and then pick the cheapest way to get those options. HEPA is great for filtering the air, but the charcoal filter is better at reducing pet odors which is why most pet models dont come with hepa filters....See MoreChi
