To all my Canadian KTers.

Please do not forget to wear red today as we pay our respects for RCMP Const. David Wynn, who will be laid to rest in St. Albert, AB today.

Const Wynn was fatally shot in the head last Saturday in the performance of his duties. The coward who shot him, fled the scene and was later found dead by suicide.

Const Wynn leaves a wife and three children.

Please honor him and all our men and women in service by wearing red, today.

I'm wearing red today, in respect for him, Prairie.
I'll be watching the news and maybe catch a glimpse of your eye-candy of a Premier! I think Jim Prentice is such a hunk.

Well, we may have a difference of opinion there, Jasdip. But, it is nice to know that not only will there be hundreds of police from across the country there, in addition to Premier Prentice, Prime Minister Harper will be in attendance as well, to pay his respects.

Too many of our young men in the RCMP and Canadian Forces have died on home soil this year at the hands of "idiots". I would like to call them what I really think, but I would be lowering myself to their level.

My heart goes out to the families, and I would like to say to them, "You gave all and all I can do in return is say Thank You. God Bless."

Got mine on! I have added my neighbor to my list. I found out last week that they almost lost her at Christmas. She had another biopsy 2 weeks ago. I let her know I wear red every Thursday for hope and encouragement for my friends with this horrible desease. Tami

Sending those special thoughts to all those in law enforcement in Canada who keep all of you and those who travel there safe. Thank you! When we traveled there and we did a lot of that, my girls were always fascinated by their uniforms and we did take a tour of the academy (not sure if that was the right name), where they took their training, but sure impressed a 16 year old and a 13 year old. Good memories.

Watched the funeral on TV this afternoon. Such an emotional day.

My nephew is a chef at the RCMP training center in Regina, got married in the chapel on the grounds. The picture of Const. Wynn with the stained glass window of the Mountie was taken in that chapel.

Jasdip, I was a card carrying, bleed blue Torie for over 40 years. During "Queen Alllison's", reign, I burned my membership and joined the Wild Rose. Prentice has to prove himself to me before I can voted Torie again.

As for him being eye candy, all I can say is he's ok, I guess. I am more of a "Ralph" kind of gal. LOL

I'm a Tory through and through, and I can understand your and everyone else's anger throughout Alberta because of Queen Redford.
I feel the same way about both of our Liberal Premiers (past and present).

Hmmmm I still like Prentice's look though! LOL
