I live in south GA too. The things I can tell you when a rose act like that there are two problem. One is the water shortage like drought but at this time of the year it is not possible. There are a problem with the root system. Somethings are eatting root of the rose. Put some pesticide on the ground. If you are too late to save the plant you might consider propagating it.

Larry, Glad to hear you solved your immediate problem ! :-) Re: Gmail compose font size, I don't think there's much you can do about it. What you see is what you get. For now it seems you have to find the right balance between the style of the font and its display size. Perhaps, though, someone may be working on a "Lab" feature to address this issue. ?? Also, for future reference, you (and/or your wife) could peruse the Email Discussions Forum. There are many threads on email providers, whether you're looking for a new one or just trying to solve a problem with one you have. They have lots of helpful people to assist you. There are a few provider-specific sections, too (for Runbox, Fastmail and Gmail -- though only the first two have contributions from actual representatives of those services). Can't help you with your email. I don't use Gmail or Yahoo anymore, to many problems. If you use FF look for "no squint" in the ad ons. You can adjust the font size there. The icon is always on my add on bar on the bottom, you can change the font size and the back ground color. I love the option to change the back ground color. Right now I have a orange sherbert color for a back ground. It saves eye strain caused by the bright white MS insists on using. The fonts on the tool bars are far to small for comfort. I change that right away when I set up my PC, it is a more stable change. In W 7 right click on the desktop, Personalize, click on window color, then on advance appearance. A menu will come up, click on the area you want the font or background color changed. I like this way better but some internet site fonts are to small and the no squint helps there. On my W 8 computer the font and background color change is under display.

I tried your suggestion and find though it works, it requires several more steps than I am accustomed to. Right clicking on the photo allowed me to save it directly into the "family folder." My dear husband was the computer expert and I struggle to continue the tradition he started many years ago. Sure hope I can get back to doing it my old familiar way. sigh
