BluRay Wifi Driving Me Nutz!

Hi Everyone!

I have searched for a week .. after spending three days trying to get my Sony Blu-ray BDP BX320 to connect, wirelessly!

On setup, I first tried to connect using the auto feature .. "failed".
I tried that option 6 or seven times.

I then went to the advanced connection option and put in the IP address, subnet, DNS and all the other info that was needed .. password, user name etc. etc.

Nothing works!
Fails everytime!

The blu-ray 'does' see my home network.

There is only one thing that I haven't tried.

First, I have a Verizon FiOS Actiontec Router (MI424WR) that is running my windows seven pc in a nearby room.

My question: The router has three settings for the firewall setting as can be seen below.

{{gwi:2133338}}

It is set to 'typical' but has a minimum setting where everything is accepted.

Would it solve my problem by using this minimum setting and also "disable" my pc's firewall .. until after I "Hopefully" get a connection?

That is all I can think of that might be causing my problem?

If anyone has a better solution .. I would be grateful for the help!
