Can anyone update this thread? I'm on the hunt and there's a cash incentive to purchase by Nov 30th. I'm torn-- Benchmark, 800 series or a Miele. My 13 y.o. Miele pump is dying and I need to replace it the machine soon. Last night I had to clear it and restart at least 6 times. Not fun and I'm don't want to be left with a machine full of water and dirty dishes. Any suggestions or reviews?

Not a fan of oven thermometers, they're woefully inaccurate and not a good way to judge calibration. Also, 25 degree temperature fluctuations from the set temperature are normal in any oven. It's also normal for the keypad/display to be warm to the touch, especially at higher temperatures and prolonged operation. Service call was probably not the best idea. You need to start by trusting the oven. Bake some stuff in it and let it operate as designed. Only if you are getting poor results should you call for service, and only after you follow the recommendations in your manual for calibration. There is a very high probability that the oven is operating normally, and if it is, the technician may decline your warranty and charge you the full service call fee. I also posted on the appliance forum, but am looking for as much input as possible before deciding on a range. I am considering the30 inch Bosch dual fuel range - either the 800 series or the Benchmark. Does anyone have one? What do you like or not like about it? Any reliability problems? Thanks!

The 800 series has the Bosch wifi while the Benchmark does not appear to. Anyone know the value of the Bosch Home Connect? We were planning on the Benchmark with the side hinge but now I'm wondering about that ... paying that much more for a side hinge and no Home Connect... does that service even matter?
