Ravi: Agree with the cherry grower. It looks like brown rot to me. Rainy weather conditions are usually responsible for this, but there could also be tiny bird pecks on the cherries that were entry points for the fungus. You may have to spray with a fungicide beginning at bloom and continuing through the early stages of development of your cherries if your weather is normally cool and rainy in spring. FJ I got mine at our local HD in Hayward, it was the only one they had. Patrick, yes it's very hard to resist Angel Face in full bloom, specially that fragrance. I keep running out to take a whiff ... intoxicatingly addictive! And I had the same thought about it being a standard, just at nose level! lol Kathy, I think the problem last time was that she was not getting enough sun ... this time she's going in a pot in the front yard that gets a lot of sun all year round. I'd love to see some pictures of your Our Lady of Guadalupe - I bet it's a stunner. When the nerve in a tooth dies and the blood flow is compromised, it becomes a site for infection. If the infection can be subdued, the tooth is a canidate for a root canal. However, the root canal can not be finished until the infection is gone. If the dentist should fill the hollowed out tooth, and the infection is still around, it will continue and create a big mess at the bone. I've had several sucessful root canals and each time, the tooth was cleaned out, a medicated packing inserted, and a temporary plug installed. Each week there after, the plug and packing was removed and when the dentist was satisfied that it was safe to continue, he filled the tooth. Apparently, your teeth were not canidates for a root canal. You mentioned 'shallow roots'. I suspect it was really a recession of supporting bone material and the remining material was not eoungh to stabalize the tooth even if the infection was beat down. Recently, I had to have a molar removed. Over the years, it tended to loosen and infect. It was yet alive, but the bone loss had become too great (partly an effect of diabetes). It became infected and was clearing up, but was removed anyway. The dentist judged that it should be removed to protect the adjacent tooth, else it also would be affected by infection and bone loss. Removal of this tooth did speed up the cure of infection and did aid the health of the adjacent tooth. It was a trouble maker that needed to go.

If so many of you are getting it, it means that they are either doing some website work (moving things around) or there is a file system temporarily off-line or something like that. It should stabilize once the sys admin or webmaster finishes whatever they're working on.
