Big bang, lil bang coreopsis

I don't know why I keep trying these as success is so low.
Has anyone in zone five tried and successfully over wintered any of these?

I can easily tell which have a chance by checking in fall to see how well rooted in they are. A light tug well bring many right out of the ground.

So far for me Star Cluster is a shining success. Three summers and two winters. One winter very wet freeze thaw condition and one polar vortex. No disease issues. Only problem it grows so large it's very difficult to find an appropriate place to site. Moved one 3 times in first year and still it survived.

Failures = 3 Mercury Rising = 3 dead (didn't care don't like flower changing to white)
2 Galaxy = 2 dead
2 Red Satin = 2 mildewed messes. They are well rooted in thou and shall most likely return.

So am I the only one that can't seem to grow these.
