it appears to be from a website with bargains.com in the name. Is that a site you frequent and have a user name and password for? I would go ahead and run an updated malwarebytes scan to make sure you dont't have something hinky going on. Always a good idea to run malwarebytes anyway occasionally. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware that is the free version stick with the free one.

I fear you still have some of the infections still lingering and that could very well be interfering with your installation. I would suggest going to LzD and having Corrine look at your logs she will be able to see if any of the infection is still there and how to remove it. She is great at this she goes step by step as slow as you need. You would not want to risk having infections on it at any rate. Whew. Glad it's fixed! My mom and I went through something simliar years ago. Except, dummy me, I couldn't figure out what she meant. Until I finally drove over and saw it in person. Ah ha. Click, click, fixed. Now if I could've just gotten in via remote desktop it'd saved me a drive. She had the taskbar on the side and I just couldn't figure out what she meant. A "sidebar". Huh? She'd unlocked the taskbar, and slid it so that it was vertical instead of at the bottom and horizontal. Got it. I thought she meant she had an auxillary "thing" going on. HA!

UPDATE: Didn't want to leave you guys hanging since you're so helpful. It took a while to locate someone who would come to my house, but I did. He picked it up yesterday and just brought it back a little while ago. He said it was pretty close to going and not being able to back up. He backed up my entire computer, installed a new hard drive. Updated some files, cleaned up some things, etc. Price was extremely reasonable. I found this guy by calling the County Council on Aging. He's not associated with them, but they just pick up helpful info as they run their programs. Another place a person could check is their local library. Never hurts to ask. Raven: To answer your question. I'm not a heavy computer user. Mine's for email, keeping track of certain things, going onto different message boards, ordering things from places like Blair, QVC. I also like to go online to look up things or research some. So thanks again to all who answered.
