albert- My response was to your first post. Looking at what you subsequently wrote, I'd say that it may make sense based on whatever filtering and spam identification software Yahoo has in operation. Spam filtering is a complex and imperfect art, and that folder with many links could have looked suspicious based on whatever algorithms were at work. If you try to send the links in the folder like you did at first and it gets kicked back again, that would likely confirm that this approach won't work. However, if you can use something else, like gmail or Hotmail, it may get through.

Someone recently showed me the bookmark she got as a wedding favor. It was beautifully printed, paper, pictures, fonts. I believe it was laminated and had a pretty ribbon attached. On one side it had things about the bridal couple (picture, date of wedding) on the other side was a word; hers said FINANCE and a scripture relating to finance was below it. Each guest was asked to use the bookmark and pray for couple over the years to come. So my friend is praying over their finances, someone else would pray over their health, etc. I'm sure you could use the fruits of the spirit for words - everyone at the table would get a different word! And the couple will be covered with prayer! I was thinking of doing this for my DD's baby shower.

JoAnn, my life is too chaotic at the moment to commit to this swap, but you're so sweet to be organizing it. Hopefully by next summer I'll be able to be more social and join in these fun events. Over the years at the KT I have received such sweet, and usefull, gifts from spontaneous give-aways/contests - several hand-crocheted nylon scrubbies, two knit dishcloths, and a home-crafted soy candle. They were all delights to use. The dishcloth lady (?) insisted they be used for their intended purpose - washing dirty dishes! Oh the sacrilege; they were both so lovely and made with such precision. I did use one for ages to wash water glasses only; the other is still serving as a vase/candle/planter mat. It IS being useful and looking at it makes me feel special.

Well, my mantelpiece is bursting with Christmas cards which is lovely as they are my only Christmas decoration this year. I couldn't get excited about putting up the tree and didn't really have the time anyway. I'm glad people liked my bookmark :-) Veer, it's "Uluru", pron. "OO-loo-roo" ("oo" as in "book"), which is the name the traditional owners give it. As a sacred site they prefer that tourists not climb on it, but sadly many visitors ignore this and don't feel they've been to Uluru unless they climb to the top. I wouldn't feel the need to climb over the altar at St Paul's or Notre Dame to show I've been there and so climbing Uluru seems very disrespectful to me. Astrokath, I have to say I prefer real cards too- you can't put an e-card on the mantelpiece! (Well I guess you could if you had a colour printer, which we don't :-) .)
