Harry Potter book 7

    (Conclusion to previous 4 posts)
    - Foreshadowing from earlier books - I think the phoenix dieing and being reborn is an important for both DD and Harry. Harry carries Fawke's feather in his wand. I think the whole quest at the end of book one is a mini layout of the final quest or perhaps the series as a whole. Harry, with his LOYAL friends face danger, break rules, keep their heads, use their learning and their talents to defeat the obstacles one by one. At one point, Harry must go on alone - and face himself. The heroic sacrifice of Ron and the words to Harry that he must finish the quest is definitely a foreshadowing of DD's final scene. Harry may also be using those same words to Neville. As Harry is the last Horcrux, he must be destroyed in some sense and the task may be left to another ambiguously named in the prophecy. Remember, just because Harry is the only 'marked as V's equal', doesn't mean that he's also the only that has the power to undo him.
    - Other Horcrucis(not Horcruxes!)Well of the original six, there is: the diary, the ring, the locket, the cup, and HP himself. There may be another if my theory about HP being an unintentional 7th. holds true. It's not reasonable to think the Mirror of Derised, or the Sword or Sorting Hat be one, since if that was the case, why would V be wasting his time with the hard to obtain Sorcerer's Stone when one of the Horcrucis was literally staring him in the face(or the back of the head)! Then again, maybe the Horcrucis don't do anything but keep him from perishing totally. Hmm.
Okay. Sorry about my rambling. I'll probably have to cut this into several posts. Hmm. How many. Ooh. How about 7?!

Oh yes. I forgot one. It will turn out that Snapes is the one to have found the infant Harry after rushing to warn Lily. Remember, DD said that Snapes may have repeated the prophecy to V, but he didn't realize to whom it referred to, - until perhaps, it was too late.

    Question about Harry Potter.....

    Q

    Comments (7)
Rowling brought Albus Dumbledore out of the closet at a question and answer session with fans of the books. A fan asked the question and she decided to answer it. It seems this is how the author imagined that character, but she never spelled it out in the stories. I have read all the books, some more than once, and this never occurred to me. I am listening to Book 7 on audio CD now and notice pointed references to a photo of him in his youth with arm around the shoulder of his best buddy, looking very happy. His brother complains, later in the book, about how when that friendship started Albus turned his back on family responsibilities, focusing only on working with his buddy to transform the wizarding world. Many of us who love the stories think of the characters as real people. In a real society there are differing orientations, so for it to be realistic I guess the Harry Potter stories would include that. The first book starts with Harry's eleventh birthday, a children's story in which including romance of any kind would not be appropriate. By the last book Harry is 18, and by this time there are some crushes and even kissing. Nothing more, which I think is best.

I see everywhere "Dumbledore can't be dead he was such a powerful how can he be killed off that easily." Well it is that easy when you use Avada Kedavra. It doesn't matter if you're muggle or a Order of Merlin 1st Class. If you get hit you're dead. Like a Wizard's Raid. Kills People Dead. Now I guess you can say his spirit might still be out there because a pheonix rose from the grave which is probably his spirit. Also his painting is in the headmasters office. There is probably an enchantment on the room to create a painting when the person dies. Now I don't think Dumbledore is as good as fooling an enchantment. Do you. Oh yeah and the idea of the inferi potion I can only see one problem with it. Not that many people have gone to the cave. In fact Dumbledore and R.A.B.(Regulus?) have been there. Well that's all except this forum is almost full so I'm starting a new one called Harry Potter book 7

Hi I'm new to the forum but I've been dying to post what I think is coming to book 7... also forgive me if this has already been mentioned :). 1.) I truely believe Snape is still on the good side for a couple of reasons: a.) I think Snape was in love with Lily. It's kind of hinted in book 5 when Harry was in Snape's memory and Lily came to Snape's rescue. I think the only reason he said that nasty remark to her was because he was embarassed that he just showed HER and the other kids on the lawn his dirty undies and was made a fool by his competion. This is probably why James (had a hunch about Snape's feelings for her) and Siris (100% loyalty to James) hated Snape so much and why Snape hates James/Siris. Also, he probably hates Harry so much (not because his father saved his life and was jerk to him) because Harry is a walking/talking reminder Lily picked JAMES (in every book it remarks how Harry looks exactly like James. So everytime Snape looks at Harry he sees Lily in Harry's eyes and her decsion for a husband in Harry's other physical characteristics). b.) You have to admit, JKR was seriously setting up for everyone to hate Snape. I mean it was TOO built up to make everyone think he's on the dark side. Just seems like her to give us a twist. Plus, in EVERY book so far Snape has been Harry's number one suspect except book 6 when he's hunches are seemed to be confirmed... but are they? c.) It seems to me like DD was begging Snape in book 6 to kill him like he promised (if you remember Hagrid caught them fighting about something Snape didn't want to do). d.) JKR seems to be building Snape up for this great... whatever its called where he can shut out his thoughts and feelings from others... and I bet he can also do that against Vold. Why else is he the PERFECT spy? Its not secret Snape is a very powerful wizard and amazing abilities. e.) Last reason (there might be more but this is all I can think of =P) Snape did two things on the Hogwarts lawn... first he prevented Harry from performing the unforgivable curse. Well, you might say "well duh Snape didn't want to die or be tortured" but that comes to the second thing Snape did on the lawn. He didn't kill Harry. Some think that this might be because Voldamort had other plans for Harry and was ordered to not harm him, but I don't think that was it at all. Vold got what he needed from Harry in the 4th book and he couldn't get what he need in the 5th book (which he also needed Harry for). I honestly think Snape was keeping Harry from harm and keeping him from going to Azkaban. 2.) R.A.B. I have two ideas who this is. The first one is Siris' brother. I think it mentioned that his initials are Relmus A. Black (sorry if I botched his first name... but it starts with a "R" anyways). If you remember from book 5, a heavy lockit was found by Siris and he pitched it in the bag AND Remus was killed by the Dark Lord for wanting to back out... but they never got into the details...

Okay so as I have said before I am re-reading all the books to see what I can pick up this time around. Its funny when you re-read them you pick stuff up that you didnt before. Probably cos when they come out you just seem to read them really quick. Anyway just finshed the POA and when Dumbledore says to Harry that Peter P and him share a certain bond now that Harry saved his life, Harry says he does not want to share a bond with him. Dumbledore then says

" This is magic at its deepest, its most impenetrable, Harry. But trust me ... the time may come when you will be very glad you saved Pettigrew's life."

So what do you think ? Book 7 - does Peter P have to betray V and help Harry destroy him, for after all he owes his life to Harry ........

Hey loop, I definitely think that Peter P will have some role to play in book 7. I wonder though if it has to do with V or perhaps with Lupin. The silver hand has me wondering. V could have replaced his hand with anything but made it silver. Isn't there something about warewolves only being able to be killed by a silver bullet?

i know that harry does not die in the last book because i read an interview with jkr and she said that but didn't say if he survives long after. also that peter p will teach draco to become an animagus and sneak into hogwarts. also sirius is not dead i don't know how but he survived. also with the help of lupin and sirius harry will become an animagus. also i have a question in the third book how trelawany was saying how sirius was coming and that peter will be revealed well who was controlling her and with what because i think who ever it was will do again only to some who knows harry like hermione, ron, ginny, or neville. also the spirit of harrys parents and cedric will help him defeat voldemort. Tell me what you think.

i'm sorry but everything after the interview is what i think not what she said.

I'm typing what my babysitter thinks will happen, so here it goes. We're not sure about Lily's past. She had to be doing something that got her a lot of money, but what? and why all of a sudden did she start liking james. i thought she always hated him in school? do u think that james did soemthing to lily to make her like him? its all confusing. also, if she was in the ministry someone who knew peter p told him where they lived and that same person is probably after harry now as a DE.

i know its late saying it, and im new to this website, so its okay, but i thout the film missed out SOOOOOOOOo much. GOF is by far the best book, and if i hadnt red the book, i woud hav no idea wat was hapening howver, ron is getting rather fit

don't send a email to me if you do i will just delete it before reading it.

I know something else they missed out of the film: SPEW. i hope it turns out to be a really important part of the story line to serve them right for missing it out. Also, I think that the RAB being Amy Benson is a really good theory. I read somewhere that 2 really big clues are given away in the 3rd film, but are a fluke by the director. hmmmm..... please respond

Yeah I also read about the 3rd film giving away 2 clues and the director didnt even know until JKR told him, I need to watch the POA again though to see if I can see what they are. Also I read and interview with JKR when they asked if there was anyone else in the house other then V and the potters when V killed them and I cant remember exactly what she said, but it was something along the ideas of I cant answer that or what do you think. Anyway I got the impression that it will turn out that somebody else was in the house that night.

I also forgot to say: I read somewhere that the owner of the leaky cauldron is DD's brother. I know that sounds far fetched, but there was LOADS of eveidence to back it up. When i find the website again, i'll copy the stuff it said here. I think H, R & E will meet up with him some time in book 7, and he will give them many answers about all the stuff they don't know yet. please respond...i feel ignored

OK. Having reread all the books since HBP, and some websites, and talked to my other hp obsessed friends these points are what I think are true. Please can you respond and tell me what you think: 1. Harry is the "something of gryffindorÂs" horcrux, and to save everyone, heÂll have to kill himself. 2. DDÂs animagus is a phoenix: weÂve never seen an animagus die before, so when a phoenix rose from his ashes, it could have been that. So hes probably actually dead. 3. Snape is good, and he and DD knew he had to kill him. He didnÂt kill him with avada kedavra though, because u need to want to kill the person to do that, so he did it with some other spell, which would be why he bled and fell and stuff, which u donÂt do at avada kedavra. 4. RAB is either Amy Benson or Amelia Bones. Regulas Black is too obvious. 5. Aberforth Dumbledore (DDÂs bro) is the owner of the leaky cauldron. H, R & E will meet him and ask questions about stuff they donÂt know yet. 6. HarryÂs green eyes are going to b VERY significant to the storyline. 7. Maybe Snape WAS in love with Lily I donÂt know about that, but I definitely think they have a history, which will be important. 8. Peter P will turn on V, and help harry defeat him, which is why DD said he may be glad he saved his life one day. 9. Harry will triumph over V in the end, but may die in the attempt. Please respond and tell me what you think!

Well JKR has hinted that the the phoenix will a play part in book seven. As for Harrys eyes does anyone have any idea what that could be about ? I know JKR has confirmed that Petunia is not a squib but in book 7 we find out how she knows so much about the wizarding world. Peter P will have to betray V because he owes his life to Harry. I am not sure about the whole Snape loving Lily storyline though.JKR said in an interview that some of the teachers have partners who we will meet, though up to book six we havent so maybe they will turn up in book seven ? I am re-reading the books, only on GOF at the mo. I really need to feed OOTP again as the first time I read it so fast I can hardly remember what happened.

I recall that turning 17 means you can do magic without receiving an underage-warning. We know that Hermione was already 12 (JK Rowling says this on her website) when she started at Hogwarts and thus turns 17 on September 19 in her 6th year at Hogwarts. This would mean that during the holiday after her 6th year (half blood prince), she would be able to do magic legally at her home. Knowing hermione, she would probably use this opportunity to figure out a great deal about important spells unbeknownst to her as yet, and especially the potion about becoming an animagus. What does everyone think?

As theyre not returning to hogwarts, and DD is dead, I doubt that any of the trio will have any regard for the rule of not performing magic underage, becasue it wont matter if they get expelled. And DDs bro owns Hogs Head inn, not the L.C. sorry my mistake

Someone on another site mentioned that they thought DD might be faking death because anyone who has been killed with Avada Kadavra always has their eyes open and DD had his eyes closed as if he were sleeping...I don't really know about this but i'm just throwing it out there for thought......

i definitely think hes dead, because harry became unfrozen when he died. But maybe he died with a different curse - one that shoots you into the air, because he fell off the tower. u have to really want to kill someone to u a.k, and snape probly didnt want to

when voldemort attacked harry as a baby, he didn't die, he just lost his body, right? Or did he die and have a horcrux somewhere and that's why he lived? because if he died then that would mean there's only 3 horcruxes left and his new body. And if we assume the locket would have been destroyed already by RAB then there's only 2 horcruxes left and his body...

After Quirrel(sp?) died that would have left Voldemort with no body, he would have just been a piece of a spirit or something, so where did he get that body that wormtail puts into the cauldron in GoF????

    Any thoughts on this???

i just started rereading the series, and in CoS i noticed that the ghost leader of The Headless Hunt is named Sir Patrick Delaney-Podmore. I'm assuming that he was/is related to Sturgis Podmore (who was sentenced into Azkaban in OotP). I'm not sure if it's relavant to the story, but thought you'd all like to know that since JKR has said we'll find out more about ghosts in the next book. cheers...

Oh! I also realized that Nearly Headles Nick's deathday is on Halloween, same as James and Lily's. This, i think, is also irrelavant but an interesting piece of info....

I just figured out something for all u dumbledore fans:
Dumbledore is 'alive as long as someone in Hogwarts is loyal to him
So, using the magic of the horocruxes, isn't it possible that Dumbledore made Hogwarts HIS horocrux?
    And 4 more things:
    1. when i say horocrux, don't be mad, i mean a horocrux powered by loyalty, not death, so Dumbledore isn't a murderer, unless its by his defeat of the evil wizard in 1945, any1 know more about that?
    2. Sluggy says Dumbledore is 'particullary fierce about the subject [horocruxes]... maybe he doesnt want any student to find out that Hogwarts is one?!?!
    3. Maybe Dumbledore used a combination of Fawkes powers and his own to create such a thing. After all, when Dumbledore dies, the phoenix that rises from his ashes [cough, cough, read #4], and maybe returns him to Hogwarts
    4. I think Dumbledore is alive in Fawkes... thats how come Fawkes is with Harry in #2, is so majestic and responds to Dumbledore, saves Dumbledore's life in #5, and why Dumbledore shares such a connection to Harry- the feather in the wand that cursed Harry.

    IDK

let me know wat u think!!! :D

....all i know about the wizard dumbldore defeated is that his name was grandlewald and it was in 1945, i don't know if it's really rellavent though......and that would be really smart to make a phoenix a horcrux seeing as they can't really die...

I think that DD's animagus was a phoenix, that is why he is so connected with them. BUT, maybe becasue he was such a powerful wizard, he was able to be in both his animal and human body at the same time, thus being able to save harry via Fawkes so many times. We haven't been told what happened to Fawkes once DD (the HUMAN dumbledore) died, so either: 1. he died as well, or 2. He is out there somewhere, and so a bit of DD is still alive.
    Please respond.

OKAY THEN!!!!!! LOL wow this is all amazing the ideas and everything!!!! WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW just one thing that occured to me.... bill and fluer are getting married so won't that be the perfect target for voldy??? also any sites on HP? i know mugglenet.com or what ever it is... but i want to know if there are anymore.... please respond! also i think that the whole DD thing about hogwarts being a horcrux is reading into it a bit... because if it was he wouldent have needed to get that memory from slughorn so badly.....

    Just to clear something up
DD said that voldy had 7 horcrux and that he himself was one because he had part of his soul in him which would be the seventh horcrux

    Hi Wild Child,

There are quite a few HP websites out there. If you go to JK's site - www.jkrowling.com she lists a few there that she has visited and enjoyed. A couple of those are www.the-leaky-cauldron.org, www.darkmark.com and www.hp-lexicon.org. There are more listed but these should get you started.

    Cheers

What does everybody think about the centaurs? do you think they will sit out the whole time? i think they will probably start helping the wizards and will have a great impact.

I dont think the Centaurs will really play a part in seven. (you never know though )JKR said about the phoneix playing a part in seven, she made it clear in an interview that Fawkes belonged to Dunbledore and not the school, Vold and Harry both have a phoneix tail in their wands from the same phoneix, what this all means though - I have no idea.

On the whole is Snape really evil or not, as I have said before on here I am re-reading the books. I have just finished GOF and in it Voldemort says that he believes one of his death eaters has left him for ever and he will be killed ... so this is Snape. He must know deep down that Snape betrayed him ... or did he !? Then at the end of GOF Dumbledore says to Snape " you know what I must ask you to do, If you are ready .... if you are prepared. I reckon Dumbledore was sending Snape back to Voldemort. We still dont know what the reason is that Dumbledore trusts Snape so much, I am sure we will find out in 7. ( I reckon Snape might die in book 7). Reading GOF again its amazing how much stuff I didnt remember from the first time I read it all that time ago. Now to start on the OOTP, I know I will pick up more from reading it again.

O.k. I have a question....when witches or wizards die do they leave behind a will?? && if they do, do u guys think DD left Harry anything ??

Any idea when HP 7 is coming out? My DH is a die hard fan and has been asking me to keep an eye out for it. Ive only read the first book - but have seen every movie, and they just keep better and better. DH says the same thing about the books.

O.K....so i was listening to Jesse McCartney the other day and reading the lyrics of his song "Good Life"

and i noticed there a comparison to Harry Potter

"If you're boss is giving you pressure
Let go, take a breather in the park
You've got to find out what's your pleasure
In time you'll be singing like a lark
Pretty soon your sorry will chime for all
    Somebody will heed your call
Leave all your troubles and pain
And rise like Phoenix from the flame "

i thought it was kind of wierd

"Rising like a Phoenix from the flames" has been a common metaphor long before HP. It means climbing out of ruin (emotional, physical, financial)and climbing to a position perhaps even better than before. Sorry, but not everyone has HP on the brain. I believe the phoenix as a mythological bird dates back to Greek mythology.

I have some REALLY great news for all harry potter people. I KNOW THE RELEASE DATE OF BOOK 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well at least I think I do. JK said in an interview that it will most likely come out on 07/07/07. thats because it is in a realistic amount of time for her to finish it, and its a really suitable date with all the 7s for the 7th book to come out.
    wooohooo.

To all of you worried that you are not thin enough go to the site below and take heart!
If you read to the bottom of the article you will see mention of 'chihuahuas' the small dogs fashionable with skinny models/movie stars.
My daughter had a PR job with the UK group 'Girls Aloud'. Luckily they were in mid-Euopean tour and were more tired and docile than they sometimes are. One of the girls had a chihuahua as a fashion accessory and DD was worried when it P--p-d on the studio floor "No way was I going to clean that up" when the starlett cleared it up herself!
BTW both my DD and DS went to the same school as JKR . .. but some years after she left. They were taught by several of the 'characters' that JKR used in her books as Hogwort teachers.

Here is a link that might be useful: J K Rowling and Skinny Girls

    Okay I have a question.

I have just read the OOTP for the second time.

How does Lucius reconzie Sirius at the station as being the dog. Did I miss something. It was not common knowledge that Sirius was an animagus, even after he escaped in POA. The only person who knew this who would tell Lucius was SNAPE.

oh yeah... I never thought about that. Maybe peter pettigrew told the rest of the death eaters about sirius being an animagus, and then lucius just used common sense when he saw them with a big dog. PP probably told them what sirius would look like as a dog, and as lucius doesnt seem really dumb or anything, he assumed that it was sirius, and they didnt just own a pet dog identical to that description. just a guess...

I have to wonder if DD is really dead and or out of the story. Because it would be unbelievably wasteful of Rowling to kill off a major character just to kill him. Why would she have him go through the torture in the cave for a fake?

Ok... I have a new theory about RAB. We've already established that it was probably Regalus Black. So, I think that he was there and that he took the horcrux to either destroy it or keep it for himself ensuring that he stays alive. I think this is the reason that he was killed: either because of the potion (meaning someone was there with him) or because someone found out about it. But, somehow I think it got back to the Black house. Do you remember in the fifth book that they threw out an old locket that was probably a family heirloom?? That might have been it. I don't think that JKR would have stressed that locket being thrown away specifically if it was not significant. Please tell me your thoughts!! I also agree on the Harry/Horcrux thing, but hope to find that there is some other way that to have him die!!! :)

Hey insightful, I think the general consensus of people on this site is that RAB is most likely Regalus Black and the locket from Book 5 is one of the Horcruxes. if you came up with that theory on your own without reading the other posts...good job...a lot of people overlook the small stuff in the books. In my personal opinion on Harry being one of the Horcruxes...I think Voldermort was plain and simple just trying to kill Harry and that he isn't one of the Horcruxes, but that's just my opinion.

ok i was thinking that if Harry is a Hoaxcus, do u guys think that Voldemort realy knows? I don't think he know.

    And...

    What happens if:
Harry destroy all the hoxcus but one
cuz he didnt know the last one was himself
    he fights voldy
sadly voldy wins and harry dies *tear*...

then that means that voldemort is mortal and can be killed
so in a way Harry won,

does that make since, tell me ur opinion

I read that jk might release bk 7 on 07/07/07. yay!

i also think that ron might die. Firstly, because the best friend of the hero usually dies, and second because of this article I found:

"Why Ron is probably gonna get the axe before it's all over.
Let's start with killing off one myth: the Ollivander's anagram. Sure, it spells out "Ronald lives" if rearranged. It also spells out "Ronald's evil" though, so I don't think that's any guarantee our little redhead is going to make it throughÂ

There are two main reasons (and a bunch of smaller ones) to why I think that Ron will die. Of course, I don't want him to - it would be completely horrible - but I didn't want Sirius to die either and he did, so I figure, better be prepared for the worst, eh?

    Reason 1: The Stupid Joke

Those of you who frequent the HP Sleuth page are familiar with the theory that when Ron makes a joke, it usually turns out to come true. I know that Galadriel Waters writes about this in her books too, but since I haven't read them, I can't make any parallels. I could repeat all the HP Sleuth arguments regarding Ron, jokes and fortune telling, but since it's already online, I'll just refer you to the HP Sleuth page instead.

To the point. In OotP, Ron makes a very stupid joke indeed: "And from now on, I don't care if my tea-leaves spell die, Ron, die - I'm just chucking them in the bin where they belong" (p. 633). What bothers me here is not only that it's one of Ron's jokes, but that the "die, Ron, die" is emphasised by being put in italics. JKR could have not done this. She could have used quotation marks instead, or nothing at all for that matter. Also, the word "die" is duplicated and put around the word "Ron", surrounding it. It doesn't look too goodÂ

    Reason 2: McGonagall's Chess game

This is a theory that I received quite some time ago from Dora and Gally. Clumsy in general as I am, I lost their e-mail address, so I couldn't write them back about it. I'll just hope that they don't mind me using it. :-) Everything in italics is part of the message they sent me. (The passage is PS p. 204-206 UK paperback edition by the way.)

"Rowling always had a good sense of humour ;-). She described the Second Wizard War in the McGonagall's chess game. The chessmen (chessmen, figures...how strangely she describes them, like real people, not like pieces of stone) are black (Aurors) and white (Death Eaters). The white figures are scary, cus they are "faceless" (white terrible masks of Death Eaters)
"Harry, Ron and Hermione shivered slightly -- the towering white chessmen had no faces."

Then let's take a look at this:

"Well, Harry, you take the place of that bishop, and Hermione, you are next to him instead of that castle."
    "What about you?"
"I'm going to be a knight," said Ron."

That's a very strange choice, isn't it? Ron is very good at chess, he must knew, that it's better to be a king, because kings can stay until the end of...

Sorry to change the subject a bit, but I'd like your thoughts on this: My DD is re-reading the HPs and in book 2 it's stated that Dumbledore was once the Transfiguration teacher. Although I do believe (well, more or less) that he IS probably really dead (the Hero's quest, and all that, the mentor must die so the Hero can do what he has to do, etc., etc.), it MIGHT be possible that Dumbledore transfigured himself into Fawkes, the phoenix, that is, IF Snape didn't really kill him (recall the emphasis on mental spells vs. spoken ones). Just a thought.

As for Ron dying ... gads I hope not! I really don't think she will kill off Ron or Hermione. Morally wound them, perhaps, but they'd have to recover in the end in order to truly triumph.

Ron will not die he may be injured trying to protect Harry and Hermione, but i dont think he will die. Harry will realize after this that he in fact needs the love of his friends to defeat Voldemort. And as Hermione and Ron are his best friends, he still has feelings for Ginny and he is considering the weasley's his family. So they are going to be his support when he defeats Voldemort.

As for Snape being evil, I dont think he is. If you think about it, he had no idea what the plan for Draco was. He only mentioned knowing after the comment Bellatrix mentioned. and since Draco wouldnt tell him, he had no way of dying from breaking the unbreakable vow. plus what about Wormtail? why was he at Snape's house? I dont think it was to assist Snape as he said, but to spy on him for Voldemort. Why else was he taking up listening at doors as Snape had said?
I also dont believe Dumbledore to be dead. He was arguing with Snape about something Snape didnt want to do. I mean, how else did Snape know exactly where Draco was when he had Dumbledore on the roof? Plus, there is something in the first book that supports it. in the first potions class, Snape told the class he could teach them how to put a stopper in death. I think he gave something to Dumbledore to help out with that.

Dumbledore can't be dead. First of all, there is no way Harry would be able to find the rest of the horcruxes without the help of Dumbledore. Think about it, why did Snape "kill" Dumbledore before Malfoy had the chance to? It was all a set up. Snape is a good guy. They had it planned in advance that Snape should be the one to "kill" Dumbledore because if Malfoy had done it, Dumbledore really would have died. Recall that during the burial scene, no one saw Dumbledore's body. From the time of his death until his burial, who actually got close to Dumbledore's body? Think about it. Tell me what you think about this idea...

is it possible the Peter Pettigrew or Snape will protect Harry from Voldemort in some way? Peter owes Harry his life for sparing his, and Dumbledore did say that there would be a time Harry would be glad he did that. And Snape owes James for saving his, so maybe he will repay him by dying to protect Harry somewhere in the book

DD is alive, although gone and out of the picture for the moment as part of his plan to lure "He Who Must Not Be Named" into a false sense of security, and to allow Snape to fullfill his role as DE turned spy and true protector of Harry, Malfoy, and Hogwarts! (It was a psuedo-cide) DD could have escaped Snape with Harry if he wished)The phoenix shall rise again, more powerful than before!. Also, Sirius blach will also return from his untimely accidental trip through the portal into the Netherworld and He and Harry will live together with Jenny and friends in the end.For lack of a better reason ,these are children's books after all, and there Must be a happy ending with "All's well that ends well!

I personally think that all this nonsence about DD being alive and Snap helping Harry is a lie. I think we all secretly know that DD is dead and Snape is evil. You all are just covering it up because you dont want it to happen....just get over it, untill you can give me REAL proof from the txt that DD is alive, andSnape is good i refuse to belive it!!

    thts my opinion

i think that it is possible for dumbledore to be alive and also it is possible for snape to be working for the good guys. first of all let me say that i have not read these books in excess. i think i have read all of them probably three times each. that being the case there is a lot of room for error in these statements i am about to give .so please dont hold my ignorance against me. now what i believe could have happened is this ,dumbledore and snape set up a very convincing spectacle. i cant remember where i read this but i remember somebody telling ,harry i believe, that in order to perform the avada kedavra curse you have to whole heartedly want the killing effect, for lack of a better way of saying it.i think that snape when he said those words that anyone who heard would be shure ,including all death eaters and voldemort, that the intended victom would breath no more. so i think that dumbledore and snape had this little farce set up. thinkabout it ,dumbledore is the most powerful wizard in the world and the wisest alive. do you think he could be fooled by the act of a repentent death eater or the immature tactics of some spoiled egotistical overeager teenager. also do you really believe that he would not do everything in his power and that is saying alot to stay around and protect the wizarding world from the most dangerous man in the world?no i really dont think so although i could be and probably am wrong. also i think that harry needs alot more training and education before he tackles this treacherous task thats set before him,and dumbledore knows it.also another point that i'd like to make is;that i think their most powerful weapons that they have are stealth and surprise.think about the shock that will ensue in the fictional world and not to mention ours when halfway through the the seventh book dumbledore shows up to help kick some death eater ass.sorry so long i had to vent..
