I blog and have had great fun doing so... Really recommend it as it's very easy to learn and once you get the hang of it, it can really influence your reading choices. (At least it did for me.)

I suggested we should meet somewhere for tea sometime -- since we're practically neighbors. I seem to remember you trying to schedule with other Nor Cal RPers some years back, but I couldn't join you. Did that ever happen?

No, we never got together. It was Pat and I who eventually agreed to meet, but I delayed it when I got busy and then after that I forget. Later when I finally remembered and contacted her again, the timing was wrong for her. We just let it get away from us.

I enjoy looking at all of your blogs. It makes me realize, once again, what a variety folks on this forum read.

The public library system for which I work has a readers advisory blog and I am one of the contributors. Our emphasis is on new books of all genres. It's really fun and one of its perks is that I get LOTS of arcs, but I do find it requires some fairly focused reading--and focused writing at deadline time.
