I read it many years ago and remember that I loved it. Now, however, I couldn't tell you the first thing about it. A few months ago, I purchased a copy so I could read it again, but I haven't done so yet. Sometimes, when I reread books that I loved when I was younger, I find that they have either not withstood the test of time or that I myself have changed (for better or worse) and no longer enjoy them. I'm hoping that when I read The Eight again that I will like it as much now as I did then.

I think you will still like it. I also read the Magic Circle by her but it isn't as good.

Would you want to give us an idea of what these are about?

The Eight is about 2 women one, one from the current century and one from the time of the French Revolution, they are on a quest and ultimately their stories become one. Lots of puzzles and mystery, etc. I guess you could put it in the Da Vinci Code genre but I like The Eight better than the Da Vinci code.
The Magic Circle is definitely Da Vinci type and not as believable as the others.

I read The Eight several years ago also and loved it-I remember thinking at the time Da Vinci Code
came out that The Eight was of a similar vein but so much better than DaVinci Code!

I read this years ago and absolutely loved it. It's a magnificent, page-turner of a puzzle and very well done. I'd recommend it highly.
