Well. That depends on what might actually be growing, George :-) If your lemon tree was grafted, and most likely it was, and you cut the tree down below the graft line, you may not have a lemon, or a lemon that is worth eating. You can let the tree grow, and then as it continues to put out additional branches, start trimming the lower ones to lift the canopy. It won't be a maintenance nightmare - citrus are very well behaved trees and don't take much care. Regular watering and fertilizing is about it. And, pruning to the shape you want is just about it. Very cool, thank you. Wow expensive, huh!? Beggars can't be choosers though. Trying to wade through and figure if there are issues importing seeds from another country, I remember going through customs they would always ask about stuff like this, so I am a little concerned.

Hi Daisyduckworth, Yes you can use bush lemons (citronelles) in the same way as normal lemons. They are just a more primitive lemon. They are usually used as the root stock for grafted varieties. You will need a lot more of them to get much juice because they are very thick skinned, have heaps of seeds and are not as juicy. They are quite sweet and palatable. They are tough as old boots and will grow in arid or drought prone areas. Cheers, Dee.

Looks (and sounds) like camomile, Matricaria recutita, to me. This is an annual so could very well pop up unexpectedly from some disturbed seed source.
