I am currently building a home with wayne homes. it is a very very long process with poor communication. Its been nine months and five site managers, Its been illegal aliens installing drywall over receptacles with underage children with the, Its been waiting and waiting and wondering if someone will show up. I texted the current manager two weeks ago, I never met him, and asked if i was holding it up and needed to do anything. he said no i am good. The VP GM blamed me previously for holding. the point is they advertise customer service but it is poor at best . So far the works looks great. But somethings i have to fix because putting a water line in from of a power receptical is wrong. I will fix it myself. I am putting the over head fans in this week. The contract said the electrician would but they came and i wasnt told they were coming so the fan didnt get put in. So this is the of the ice berg the house looks nice the framer were great the painter were great but who knows when wayne homes will finish as i pay for mortgage on a house that looks nice

I've got a lot of NuTone stuff in my house from that era. It is mostly bathroom exhaust fans and heater/exhaust fan/lights. One of them is a curious contraption that looked to me, earlier, to have a way to make it into an HVAC supply, possibly in a controlled manner . Now, I have some more info. Please forgive a little hijacking the thread Thanks for posting that link to the catalog, North Texan. I love that 50s ad stuff. I've got between 3 and 5 things out of that catalog in my house. First, some residual, nonworking intercom equipment. It looks like I have a 5000 series Hood-Fan in my kitchen with its dual squirrel cage blowers. Now that I know what the original lights looked like, I can take a close look at what the electrician/owner did when he hacked a 3' T12 luminaire in there. I've also got a "Fold-away" listed right under the 5000 series. The high wall mounted fan is probably a NuTone. I'll have to take a close look. The outside hood says NuTone and I feel it in my heart that it has a "patented no flutter shutter". I have, however, only a simple snap action switch ganged with a light switch in the same box. AMS, you want to sell your switch? I might be able to use it though I might need to pull some cable. Now, the bathroom heater-fan might be a close miss. My dampered outlet is definitely at the top rather than the side. Mine also appears to do more than this and the model number is different, longer. Maybe the longer number is an indication of added functionality. On the other hand, perhaps my was modified by the owner for top outlet. The bimetal spring might be what closes the (original) louvre. Over here most of our Erigeron species are biennial, except canadensis which is annual. I like these searches, because I learn what species are growing in other places. It's not a threat until it finishes flowering and starts producing seeds. You have some attractive Erigeron species there. Here, a lot of people consider most Erigeron species as weeds. I did also for awhile, but now I let some anuus and philidelphicus vollunteers grow, if they aren't being a threat to any nearby plants, and then I pull them before they set seed. The species in the UK that I saw observations for are anuus, canadensis, floribundus, purpuratus, karvinskianus, sumatraensis, acris. and glaucus. Here, in eastern NA, the only species unanimusly thought to be garden worthy is Erigeron pulchellus. The western US has some beautiful Erigeron species. I try to go with the flow, so instead of spending time and effort trying to grow feverfew or chamomile, which have similar flowers, why not let some Erigeron vollunteers grow and flower. Unless you plan to grow Chamomile to make tea. I'm assuming that most Erigeron species over there are also biennial?

Do you have a sprinkler that hits that area - or some other water collecting there? It's really common around here(zone 9b) for groundwater/well water to leave orange rust stains like that - I've seen it often on the sides of buildings and pavement - from sprinklers, but also from air conditioners and rain gutters. There's also a red algae that forms in damp spots...
