Yes, I love Wilhelm and have grown it for many years until it got crowded out by Heavenly Pink and Guirlande d'Amour. The individual blooms aren't all that exciting, which to me differs from the pictures I've seen of Felicia. I have Felicia too, and in my yard they couldn't be more different. Wilhelm is nicely hardy and grows to a 4-5' bushy shrub that's OK in the shade. Until it got crowded out it was mostly cane hardy. I'd put the color at a crimson red rather than dark pink, but that's a matter of degree. Ironically, Will Scarlet that is supposed to be like Wilhelm is a notably pink rose with no scarlet aspirations whatsoever. OTOH Felicia for me is a ground hugging wimp with a few scattered blooms on a limp caned barely root hardy plant. Wilhelm can bloom all season when happy, where Felicia barely lifts her head to put out a few blooms in spring. I'm sure the difference has to do with my zone, so it might be more similar in your zone. Still, I find that the hybrid musks as a group have a lot more variability than I'd originally supposed. My impression was that they were all about 3' and lax with cream to blush blooms, but Wilhelm breaks all those expectations. In the spirit of true confessions the band that I replaced for Wilhelm nearby didn't survive the winter but I don't think it had a good root structure built up. Sheesh! I tried to respond last night but my reply never made it. I'm following this too, Dianela. You're not that far away and you're looking at a class that I need to plant more. I also don't spray. I have several that haven't been mentioned yet. 1. Heavenly Pink (Maybe)- I planted this Lens hybrid musk close to 15 yrs. ago at the edge of our property where it is in deciduous dappled shade during part of spring and fall and all summer. It is where we buried Dot (son's dog). The hose can't reach there so I carried water at first, then it was on its own. It only blooms in spring here because of the trees leafing out but it blooms a good month. The blooms are a light pink. The roses are small but there are plenty. It is a tough survivor and would probably be stunning if it received better care. I'm not 100% sure this is Heavenly Pink because it doesn't look like some of the photos on HMF but that may be due to environment, not genetics. 2. Daybreak- A soft yellow Pemberton musk that wants to be big. This will be its 4th season since I planted it the year I put in the East bed. It receives sun probably a little less than 4 hrs. most of the spring/summer. I try to protect the roses in this bed from deer since it's on the edge of the woods but it keeps outgrowing its "jail". Like a lot of Pemberton musks, it blooms in spring and fall and takes a break in summer. 3. Lemon Zen- Bred by John Starnes, this is classified as a noisette but I have seen it called a HM. It is r. moschata x 'Graham Thomas'. Had I considered the 'Graham Thomas' side, I never would have gotten this one because GT was a big blackspotted mess for me. This isn't a rose for shade, it wants sun. When I figured that out, I planted it beside my other big yellow noisettes and it immediately began to grow. It is a soft yellow single that blooms in sizable clusters attractive to bees. It has a soft fragrance. It seems to need to grow several years before it comes into its best self and really blooms much. It spotted a little when it was getting started but not enough to be problematic. Hope this helps.

Gorgeous Daniela. What do yoy get for rebloom in such a young plant? Have I suggested MaC? This rose can grow massive with beautiful blooms if happy. I dont know what makes it happy, though. She loved my yard, but is sparse with the blooms at my friends. I suspect she likes feeding, but no issues with health or vigor. Gorgeous blooms and grafragrance. Although pinkish, Cornelia is another healthy good bloomer here with few thorns. Shes on my front fence facing a public sidewalk.

Correction, judijunebug, it was the very popular HT, Pascali, that I got at Sears for 49¢. Back in the 60-70's Pascali was sold everywhere, grafted, and in body bags. It did not survive in popularity to this day as have: Mr. Lincoln, Peace, Tropicana etc. I think it is that the bloom was small and it produced many blind growths although it had great HT form, exhibition quality. Sorry for the correction no offense intended. Hybrid Musks back then when HTs were king were unheard of. In those days grafted HTs were sold by the millions, the good old, 'spray 'til you drop,' days.
