Perhaps you could try Darlow Enigma or Guirlande dAmour, both stellar roses in my no spray garden. Pink Surprise might also work. How tall is your fence?

Don't know the other suggestion but "Darlow's Enigma" would definitely produce a generally similar effect.

If you don’t need it to be a hybrid musk Peggy Martin is almost thornless and it would cover any fence. I am Using it to cover an ugly shed. It would produce a similar effect of the small flowers in pink.

I'm trying to remember if I had a reason I wasn't considering Sally Holmes, lol. Maybe the necessity of a bit of shade tolerance? This isn't a full sun spot. Or maybe not enough fragrance? My neighbor on that fence side has a pet goat, which doesn't smell great in the summer.

Gorgeous Daniela. What do yoy get for rebloom in such a young plant? Have I suggested MaC? This rose can grow massive with beautiful blooms if happy. I dont know what makes it happy, though. She loved my yard, but is sparse with the blooms at my friends. I suspect she likes feeding, but no issues with health or vigor. Gorgeous blooms and grafragrance. Although pinkish, Cornelia is another healthy good bloomer here with few thorns. Shes on my front fence facing a public sidewalk.

If you dont get too much BS, it would be lovely. It can die back in harsh winnters so would get too out of hand. Another lovely one is The Generous Gardener and Malvern Hills, also.

I see you're in a slightly warmer zone than me, but Sally Holmes dies back all the way to the ground in my garden each winter and no fragrance to speak of for me.

Oh yeah I forgot abou t the fragrance thing! TGG and MH are fragran t. SH is not a Z5 rose as far as Im concerned. My first one died in a cold microzone.

Welp, lol, if you Google SH cold tolerance in the first 5 results you see, cold hardy, hardy to 5f, not heat tolerant, extremely heat tolerant, fragrant, not fragrant...

I ordered it. I've been dragging my feet on this spot for 3 years now, at this point anything is better than nothing!

It's a long space, I will pick a climber to add as well, so even if SH doesn't do well, I'll have something at least.

Vapor I have 2 Peggy Martins that are going to be 3 years old this season. I have only gotten random scattered rebloom so far, but I am hopping after this year that will change. My other one is working on covering a shed. I cut it to the ground last year to install a new trellis and it is doing a wonderful job already to the top of the shed in a single season. Have very high hope for this wonderful plant.
