Weekend adventure

A heavy fog filtered the air. In my tent I lay dorment, with grandson Jack by side. We awoke to the gentle 'coo' of the singing honey eater. After a solid breakfast and hike through the thick bush we came through to a vert rockface. Feeling the feeling of defeat, we sat in the cool breeze that engulfed us. Then jack made a remarkable spotting. A Tumut Grevillea, lone. The joy we experienced in our 15 minute observation was a once off experience. The said Honey eater was near by, 'cooing'. A sense, perhaps for young and old alike, of accomplishment. Lets go home gents.

I wish not to discuss the whereabouts, as Harold may feel it appropriate to lop it down for personal enjoyment.
