HI, I'm wondering if you've ever eaten the fruit or made juice or tea from your passion flower fruit? I've often heard of it being used like that and wondering what your experience has been. Thx, Xtal

Is it in the ground or in a pot? If it's in a pot, use a feed that is formulated for flowering plants or tomatoes. The three main ingredients will be N (Nitrogen, promotes soft, leafy growth), P (Phosphorus, for root growth but also flower growth) and K (Potassium for flowers and fruits). (This is of course a gross simplification but will do for our purposes.) Look for one that contains more K than N. If it's in the ground and not flowering, it could be that the soil is too rich and/or it's not getting enough sun. Passion flowers in the ground flower best it seems on fairly poor, even rubble-filled, soil. I had to move one from my back garden where it was having far too easy a life and making masses of leaf growth but no flowers, to my sunnier front garden where the soil was poorer. I also put some rubble in the planting hole. It won't hurt to sprinkle on some Sulphate of Potash (Potassium) either.

Since incarnata doesn't maintain a persistent stem (typically goes dormant), I doubt it was the rootstock (I could be wrong of course...I hadn't ever encountered a grafted passionfruit before, they're usually easy on own root from cuttings).

Hi Crystal, I started some from seed this year with great success... You might try it. I shipped one earlier for a trade and it did not ship to well... :o)
