sann777: If you have Firefox browser, you go to your menu bar and click on "Tools", from the drop down menu select "Add-ons" a screen will pop up. On the left hand side, you will see "Get Add-ons". Click on it and it will take you to the Firefox main screen. In the upper right corner is a search box. Type in Ad Blocker Plus or if the link works, just follow the link below and it will take you to it. Just click on the button to add it to your Firefox browser. I think GW also had something awhile ago that you could sign up for that opted you out for the ads but can't remember exactly where that is. I know I signed up for it but I still had problems with the ads. And of course all those ads slow down the computer so blocking them helped to eliminate issues for me. Kathy 813, I'm logged in and have FireFox and I still get the ad. When you downloaded FF did you also download the extension ADBLOCK? Scissors, I'm logged in and I have firefox and adaware. I ALWAYS begin to cry when I hear the song "Ooh Child". I was driving home from visiting a very close family member in the hospital one day when I was a senior in high school and it was pouring outside. As I was driving my windshield wipers stopped working and the rain was so bad I had to pull over and sit. At that moment I was so upset because I knew that soon that family member would die and I was also upset because here I was stuck in a rainstorm. All of a sudden whatever song that was on the radio cut out and "Oooh Child" came on. I felt like it was her speaking to me because she was in a coma at the time and died a few days later. Years later I had my son and had just left his father and was in the car driving and I was sobbing over my life. I was talking to that family member in my mind and again that song came on. Now whenever I hear it I become teary eyed and think of that special family member. I think that actual unconditional love is a very rare thing - perhaps it doesn't even exist. Could you love a child who had no empathy and was horrible to his wife and children, to a daughter who was self absorbed and stole from you and perhaps others due to an "I want" mentality? Could you love a son who was a rapist or a daughter who beat her children relentlessly? Or, a husband who beat you and/or your children? To a man who seemed not to value you? Who repeatedly had affairs? I think there tend to be conditions to all love relationships and I think that is a very healthy thing. However, for the more average relationship where nobody is perfect but everyone keeps trying, yes there can exist a love between a parent and a child that is unique and wonderful. Keep in mind - not everyone gets to have this, you were a very lucky person. Treasure the love your mother gave you - it's not something that is gone simply because she is no longer alive. It's the gift that remains forever alive. So, it's not something that is gone now but remains in your heart forever. You continue to have that love. I agree with you about a marital situation. I have been married three decades to the same man and we love each other very much but of *course* each of us could dismantle the feelings of love by bad behavior if it lasted for a long enough period of time. This is simply human nature - most of us have limits of what we will accept from another person, and thank God for that. Those who don't, tend to invite physically and emotionally abused existences.
