I did mix my poppy seeds (purchased) with light sand to sprinkle those around. I had a spice shaker with purchased poppy seeds in it that I used...and I also spread the remaining spice poppy seeds, too. My larkspur and poppies went down on Tuesday of last week. We're getting a gentle rain today, although I've kept the soil moist after the seeding. I think they're on their own now with this rain. My tall verbena are still blooming beautifully. They self-seed so well and look good anywhere, so I just helped them a bit. My verbascum has seeds, but it's the Southern Charm variety, so I think that's a sterile one, right? By the way, my verbascum is now in bloom for the FIFTH time! It's shorter each time...started at 3 feet and is now blooming only 1 foot high. Still pretty, though. My 'Robert Poore' phlox is another self-seeder, so I have plenty of those seeds. It is also still blooming, although not as heavily. I have celosia 'Dark Caracas' (I think)....can I collect those seeds? I'd love to have thicker plantings of it.

Let me tell you that if I saw pictures of my DH in bed with another woman, even fully clothed, he'd have lots of explaining to do. But, after finding these pics and seeing as how she was hiding her phone and finding out why....I'd just wait it out and see what her future and current behavior is. If she has plans, meetings or outings that are out of norm for her, I'd check those out. If her appearance changes as far as weight, hairdo, clothing...I'd look into the reasons why. If she went looking elsewhere because you're stubborn and a non- talker, then change your style because it ain't working for you. If you want things to work, then you both need to meet in the middle. She may have slept with this man. but if she did and you love her and don't want to lose her then just deal with it. It may have been just a fling to prove that someone else found her attractive because you didn't make her feel that way. if she's got what she wants at home, she won't go looking elsewhere. Hope it works out for you.

MiMi, I felt 2 waves. Both mild but attention getting. The first was less intense then the second. I've wondered if fracking was the cause too. We have a oil line going under the ground through our state as I right this. Much contention, because the outfit used "eminent domain" as the reason for securing the properties. That was a great misuse of the process. This was not for the greater good of society, and it was a private entity that is making a profit off of this. Its called the Bakken Pipeline. I wonder what the folks up 10 miles north of me thought about this earthquake, as their farm fields are getting dug up against their wishes. The appeal date for the farmers is after the company gets the pipe laid. Go figure. The Ogallala Aquafer lies underneath a huge area of the the prairie grasslands region. The pipeline will run over this ancient water underground reservoir.
