Comments (25)Linda that's great. Much respect for your work! Looks like it had good impact on your community. There is so much food waste, money spent on bad food like candy, chips and soda, and it's so easy to grow a garden. You have given me an idea, I may contact my extension office and ask if they have classes like that here. I have wanted to take such a class for some time, but didn't know the county might have them. Food preservation is a science, and although I have the books, I would rather see someone else do it than read from a book, in case the book has a printing error or leaves something out. I didn't dare to try to can till after watching some youtube videos. So you see the classes really help as I'm sure there are other people like me who need more than a book to get started....See Moreglass crystal knobs
Comments (13)Thank you so much everyone. There were suggestions for several places that I had never heard of before. I have a hard time shopping on line as I wanted to see and hold them and my husband is pressing for a decision. He really didn't want to wait on me to order samples so I decided to go where I could see them in person. pps7 - Thank you for the suggestion for Anthropologie. I'd never been in the store before, but found one about 20 minutes away and in the same area as the RH. We couldn't agree on any of their cabinet knobs, but we did find door knobs. In the end, we ordered the knobs from RH. But, I'm keeping a list of the other places mentioned for future projects....See MoreAnybody Recognize this Crystal?
Comments (9)Don't know who made them....but they sure would be a wonderful companion to that old china pattern called wedding ring, variously made by CFH and Herchenruther. Judging by the size and shape of the wine and how very well they go with that popular china pattern, I would guess they date around 1910 or so. Sorry, I have no idea who made them. You might send a picture to Replacements. Linda C...See MoreWhere to sell Lenox crystal?
Comments (3)Thanks! I will run it by the kids but I donÂt see them being interested in these. Anyway I have my MomÂs and my GrandmaÂs, both nicer, to divide up if they should be interested someday (2 kids, should work out! Though they are 18 and 21: it might be a long wait). Thanks for the Replacements site. Now I know the name of my pattern, "Antique", and know what they sell it for. Also found out my "wine" glasses are not really wine glasses, but champagne/sherbet glasses. Good for marketing!...See MoreDee17
